Luhan stared into the eyes of his younger brother. He didn’t know why, but the taunting face staring at him reminded him of a time long ago when Sehun was first adopted. The younger kid never really smiled much but there was always something in his eyes that told how happy he was even if he didn’t physically or verbally express it. Right now, Sehun wasn’t happy, but then again why would he be? Especially with his older brother being the way he was?   Always jealous, always sarcastic, never a good example and now to add to that list, the father of his girlfriends baby, the one who now has his girlfriends ity…the .   “There is no way I am talking to you here,” Luhan whispered with spite in his voice.   Sehun just rolled his eyes, “Of course you are going to talk to me or I will demand a refund and leave a bad comment about service here.”   “You wouldn’t,” Luhan’s eyes grew, his mouth hanging open with disbelief.   “No I wouldn’t, I would have my girlfriend do it,” he smiled.   “What do you want from me?” Luhan’s voice grew louder, desperate. “I am doing what everyone wants me to do, I am taking care of this baby by working, I send home a check, and I degrade myself for a mistake!”   “Your mistake, Luhan!” Sehun shouted at a moments notice, “This is your mistake! You did this to me and to yourself! You are doing nothing extra but reaping the consequence for what you have done. It’s the law of life!”   “Lower your voice, I can’t have you here,” the older boy looked around to see if they gained any attention, quickly noticing Lonno at the lengthy front desk staring at them.   “I am not leaving Luhan until I talk to you,” Sehun said stubbornly.   The shorter of the two quickly stood up and walked in front of his younger brother with a grimace. He noticed the boy bothered to at least try and look nice for the night, he could have easily been mistaken as an employee rather than a client and this put Luhan at ease. If Nana was to see him, she might think of them as two employees conversing rather than a male client.   “Come with me, and make this quick in case I have other clients tonight,” Luhan snapped with Sehun quickly scoffing.   “Trust me, you don’t. I booked up your whole evening,” he explained causing his older brothers eyes to bulge.   “Where did you get that kind of money?”   “I saved it, besides, I requested we stay on premises so it was cheaper,” he smirked as if congratulating himself for his natural smartness.    Luhan didn’t bother answering that with a statement, instead he walked away thinking of a suitable place to host his brother. He didn’t want any place too public for fear of them getting too loud, but he didn’t want to bring the boy to his suite either in case Xiumin was still up there. This left him with the roof top of the building. He wasn’t sure if there was some rule prohibiting him from going up there, but at the moment he truly didn’t care. He needed privacy since Sehun insisted on talking to him. Luhan could do without speaking to his family ever again. Sure he was in the wrong for what he had done, but he didn’t deserve such treatment either.   The ride in the elevator was stuffy, not because it was hot, but because his brother was next to him and staring at his face as if he had never seen it before. It was making Luhan uncomfortable and quite frankly he didn’t want Sehun looking at him period. The younger man didn’t let up though. He stared as if his older brother’s face was so intriguing. Eyes roaming about every feature of the fair face of Luhan. Once the door tinged that they made it to the rooftop with Luhan’s golden key, he quickly stepped off and walked hastily to open the door leading to outside.   Sehun followed behind quietly, seemingly lost in thought but really just taking in his surroundings. He wasn’t interested in getting thrown off the roof, so he decided to try and be understanding of his older brother’s feelings and emotions. Maybe he could understand Luhan’s thought process while he was at it…   “So what do you want Sehun?” he quickly asked, turning to face the younger boy. Sehun didn't answer immediately, still looking around at everything. His eyes settled on a light that was posted on a building in the distance before he opened his mouth to talk.   “You…I was curious about our last meeting in the club,” he said in a light voice.   “Were you?” Luhan said sarcastically, “You seemed to be having fun even though you have a pregnant girlfriend at home.”   “Yeah well I was,” Sehun snapped. “But this is not about me.”   “Yes it is Sehun. I am not in your life anymore but it steadily seems like you want me to be. Every time I see you, you are spiteful-,”   “And how do you expect me to be?” he quickly interrupted his older brother. “Do you expect me to enjoy being in the company of someone who slept with my girlfriend and got her pregnant all in one go?”   Luhan knew that couldn’t be easy, but he was so stubborn, “then why put yourself in my company? Why ask me over to the house? Why come and try to talk to me in a club? Why request to see me here!”   “Why do you think everything is about you?” Sehun shook his head sadly. “I was at the club that night because I needed a break. I couldn’t stand seeing her moping around. Do you know the only reason she lives with us is because her parents don’t want her anymore? They refuse to help her with the baby, and I…I still liked her.”   “Well then it’s your fault for getting back with someone who would so easily cheat on you,” Luhan said vehemently.    “Yes, it is my fault. I know what mistakes I made, I don’t need reminders. But you? Why won’t you admit to your part in this? You insist she came on to you as if you had nothing to do with it!”   Luhan laughed, it sounded pained, “You don’t even know what type of girl she is! Why did you like her? Because she had a pretty face?”   “You’re so stubborn,” Sehun looked down and away from his brother’s face. Why couldn’t the older one just admit he was wrong? “Luhan, you never liked me. I know that you never cared. But I overlooked everything, all of it in hopes that one day we would get along. I knew I had hoped too much when she came to me crying and pleading. I never thought you were low enough to degrade someone that was rightfully mines. Through all of this, I never thought I was low enough to wallow in it. But here I am, still dating the girl that willingly slept with my brother, watching day by day as she gets bigger and bigger with your baby, cries harder, and talks less.”   Luhan listened to his younger brother mumble on about his life at home. He didn’t think that Sehun had it rough at all. If anything, he thought Sehun added his own pain for staying with the girl. But now it seems he only did it out of pity since she had nowhere else to go. The sad look emanating from Sehun’s eyes was enough to know that the boy was being completely open with him right now, even if he was not returning the favor.   “I can’t even bring myself to touch her or comfort her besides holding her hand. The whole thought of doing more with her is such a repellent that I even lose my appetite. I get sick at thinking about her with you, about that baby calling me uncle, about how it all came about,” Sehun didn’t even notice his hands shaking until warmth wrapped around them, quickly noticing the equally pale fingers laced with his own.   “Please stop telling me this,” Luhan whispered, “I don’t want to hear anymore.”   Sehun’s eyes harden almost immediately hearing his brother. He doesn’t want to hear it?   “Are you always going to be so selfish?” Sehun snatched his hand away from Luhan shaking his head as if in disbelief. “What kind of father are you going to turn out to be with an attitude like that? I dread the day that baby is born! I dread you holding it for the first time!”   His shouts rang out like painful slaps to Luhan’s face. It was like hearing Xiumin reprimand him all over again. It was like seeing the judging eyes of Jongdae boring into his skull, constantly mocking him. He knew he was selfish, he knew he had problems, but as any good therapist would say, the first step is admitting you have a problem.   When will he admit it? After the baby is born, when it was too late? When the child grows up and starts making mistakes of its own with all of them being his fault some way or another?   “When will you grow up?” the younger boy's voice shaking as tears filled up in his eyes. “When will you become my older brother so I can act younger for once? I am scared Luhan,” he unwillingly sobbed the last part of that sentence, his voice breaking dejectedly.    His feet unwillingly brought him closer to his younger brother, before stopping mid step. He watched on as Sehun’s shoulders shook up and down. He always dreamed of the day that he would see his brother break, watch him unravel showing that he was not as perfect as he pretended to be.    But this…he didn’t expect to feel this way. Because this still only showed how much better of a person Sehun was than Luhan. He could admit something as personal as being scared. He was strong enough to be vulnerable in front of his enemy.   He still was the better child.     ~~~~~~~     Jongdae found himself staring into his clear glass of water. He wanted to drink so badly, but Lyn had strict reservations about him drinking while in her presence. He had gotten back to his suite from visiting his mother early enough to go into the bathroom and try so desperately to fix his face. But it was broke. His eyes were bloodshot from crying the whole taxi ride home. His hands shook uncontrollably and no matter how hard he tried to smirk, the cut on his lip puckered making him look like some psycho rather than suave.    He was seriously tempted to call in sick, but he knew calling in after ten o’clock to cancel appointments was a “no no”. Any entertainer had to call in before ten because appointments were usually made at that time. He was stuck looking like some stressed out freak. He quickly showered first in hot water hoping the burn on his skin would snap him out of his thoughts…all it did was turn his skin an ugly red. So he switched to freezing cold, hoping his body would react enough to tell his brain to stop thinking…all it did was numb him into a stiff jointed body.    His brain was still running faster than light.   Thinking...constantly thinking...   They way Lyn looked at him when they met in the lobby was enough to know that she just might win tonight. But he was Jongdae and no matter what, he would not let her stir him. So sitting across from her now was as far as they had gotten. She hadn’t bothered to say a word to him, not one in thirty minutes. All she did was study how his hand clutched at the glass cup and then released it. Numerous times he did this, eyes not meeting hers with confidence like they usually did.   “So I went shopping today. I hate shopping you know?” she began to talk. “My mother said that I should look more fashionable, but I know that I am attractive without all that extra, aren’t I?”    J

Chapter 29: Aaaw Lyn and Jongdae, I think they're "progressing" on becoming closer..
And the more further I get in this story, the more I realize/think Nana is so selfish and vain. She may be fare when it come to salaries, but at the end it's just all about her..
