Nơi Tình Yêu Bắt Đầu (Where Love Begins)

MyungYeol One-Shot Collection

Yes. I am back.

So you guys, this is a songfic. Actually my first >///< basically, what happened was that I was watching The Voice Vietnam (yes...ya'll can drill me...I'm guilty for that...) and this one guy sang this song and I was like :OO I LOVE THIS. ANDD, Bang Kieu and Lam Anh sang it in Paris by Night :) If you guys haven't guessed, this is a Vietnamese song. The translations are a mix from me and a YouTube video I found, but that video wasn't all too helpful because translating Viet song to English is actually a lot harder than it seems. It's because most Vietnamese songs have double meanings and if you attempt to directly translate it, it won't work out very well. It'll end up like a bunch of mushed words. So basically, if the translations/song lyrics do not make any sense to you, that's why. My translation skills are still pretty rough, guys. MAKE SURE TO READ THE BOLDED/ITALISIZED PARAGRAPHS, THOSE ARE THE LYRICS, AND YES, THEY DO HAVE A LOT TO DO WITH THE STORY!

check the songs out, guys~~

Ha My's (a girl from VN) version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wx6A8fzI0B8

Myungsoo stared at the clock, then back at the window. He heard his mother call him down, but he didn't care. He kept staring.

Watched as the sun boiled over the street. Girls wearing shorts and boys wearing wifebeaters. They were happy, just drowning in the summer heat.

            ...Summer. It was only summer.

His mom was shouting for him again.

            He was crying again.

We've known each other for so long

Do the nights know that?

These drops of sadness are too bitter on my lips

The girls breathed in and out, staring at the beauty that was Kim Myungsoo. He didn't react, just waited for the bell to ring. Like he gave a damn about them.

One girl, a brave one, walked up to him. She said something and handed a red card to him along with a small box of chocolates. He still didn't react, not until a boy on his right nudged him and nodded at the girl, who just stood there. She was no longer brave. She was embarrassed.

Myungsoo sent her one look, a glare that tore down any chance she had, and stood up.

He collected all of his scattered items and tossed them in his shoulder bag, leaving the classroom without saying a word.

Of course he didn't. Kim Myungsoo never spoke. He stopped speaking in public six years ago, stopped when his only source of true happiness had left him.

We've known each other for a long time

Why are the nights always so long?

Leaving me with a stone heart...

Sungyeol sat at his desk, playing around with his pencil. He didn't know what doing anymore, and he really didn't care.

The teacher stopped talking for a minute, and Sungyeol looked up. Then back out the window at the bright red, yellow, and orange leaves. Fall. It was fall.

Why...everything clouded his mind as Sungyeol allowed is head to fall into his arms.

Why...why? He had tried so hard to forget. So hard to let go, yet last night, everything flew back to him. Knocked him down so hard he couldn't stand back up with his own two feet.

Yesterday night

I suddenly saw you in my dream

We sat together for a long time, quiet

Sungyeol threw himself up, his breathing fastening harder and harder.

He glanced at the clock. 3:46 AM.

Looking around the rest of his room, all Sungyeol saw was black. The moon shone into his room as he stood up, walking over to it. He sat next to his windowsill, looked at his suitcase as it was brightened by the moonlight, and smiled, smiled for the first time in months.

It was the first day of winter...but that wasn't why he woke up.

Dreaming tonight,

I suddenly remember in a wind rush

Is it true, when we know how to love...

Dreams are where love begins?

Myungsoo's heart was floating. He blocked every happy tear he had and pulled on his jacket. It was cold because it was Winter...but it wasn't cold enough.

He looked out the window as his mind ran through the exact direction and location he had to go to. But he could only go, he could only be truly happy, if the sky let its gems fall.

Please, let it snow in Winter

To cover your path in white as I come to you

He waited. Sungyeol stared out of his hotel window, just waiting.

He didn't care if he had jet lag. He didn't care if he'd just gotten off the plane. Sungyeol had already abandoned his suitcase in the corner, not needing it anymore.

...Would he be there? Did he still care? Twenty-four months. The last time they'd laid eyes on each other was twenty-four months ago.

Sungyeol wouldn't know, he would never know, unless God's tears were shed upon Korea.

He dropped to his knees, praying.

Please, let it snow in Winter

To let me know that you need me

When the first drop hit the ground, two people left their homes. They both rushed to one place, the same place, both begging with all their hearts and all their might that the other would be there.

Myungsoo couldn't see any other cars, but still ran. The parking lot was completely empty, telling him that nobody was here.

          Or was there?

"Please come..." Myungsoo muttered, the first words that had left him for two years.

He started running. He ran, kept running, until he saw a fountain. Then a shadow, a tall one.

Myungsoo stopped to catch his breath, but not for long. The ground was white, pure, beautiful white.

He walked forward slowly, counting every step until he could reach his love.

And time, please stop

To fill our hearts with love

In my hands lay a desired dream

Sungyeol held his breath and closed his eyes. He could hear the footsteps as they neared, and he counted. One, by one, by one, by one...until it stopped.

He stopped counting and let himself release his breath. But it wasn't only his breathing that he heard...

It wasn't until Sungyeol opened his eyes that he realized he was crying. Tears blurred his vision, but he could still make out an image. The most perfect image there was.

I've loved you, my sweetheart

Their first instincts were perfectly matched up with each other. Myungsoo grabbed Sungyeol's waist as the other gripped onto Myungsoo's neck.

Every feeling they had were let out. The two long-lost lovers allowed themselves to bask in their pain and resentment with each other.

Sungyeol pulled himself away first and just looked on. He'd be waiting for this day for so long, so...long.

"Yesterday night," Sungyeol whispered, playing with Myungsoo's collar, "I suddenly saw you in my dream."

"We sat together for a long time, quiet," Myungsoo agreed. He knew Sungyeol's dreams. He always did, he always would.

They leaned closer, and the two of them shared the first kiss they'd had in months. Ages. If felt like centuries since they were together last...and in their own way, it had been.

It was one connection that they shared out of many. Their love, it was strong. So strong, it was nearly pitiful. In the most perfect way possible.

Sungyeol slowly let go, feeling Myungsoo's tongue slide out of his mouth. "Dreaming tonight, I suddenly remember you in a wind rush."

"Is it true, when we know how to love...Dreams are where love begins?" Myungsoo subconciously asked.

Sungyeol smiled, nodding. Their dreams were always perfect, because they dreamed together.

He glanced at the clock, then back at his boyfriend.

            "...I love you..."

Please, let snow fall in the Winter

To cover your path in white as I come to you

A tear trickled down Sungyeol's cheek, his eyes daring not to look away from the clock. He squeezed his boyfriend's hand, then answered.

            "I know...I love you too."

Please, let it snow in Winter

To let me know that you need me

Everything was gone in a split second. The day that they had waited so long to come vanished before their eyes as the lovers witnessed the clock strike midnight.

The snow had come late that day, anyway.

And time, please stop

To fill up our hearts with love

He couldn't cry. He didn't even want to try. All Myungsoo did was stare at the empty spot next to him on the rim of the fountain.

He'd been waiting for two years. Even if it was for five seconds, any time spent with Sungyeol was precious to him.

In my hand lays a dream

Sungyeol leaned his head against the bus window as it drove him back to the hotel. He made it, he saw Myungsoo.

It was worth it. The waiting, the agression. Every bit of torture that Sungyeol went through mentally and physically, waiting for this day, it was all worth it because Myungsoo was worth it.

...I've loved you, my sweetheart

Myungsoo looked up at the clock. One more year left, and he could see Sungyeol again.

"Please, let snow fall in Winter."

The first teardrop since Sungyeol's leave allowed itself to drop. "Please, let it snow."

To cover your path in white as I come to you

Sungyeol grabbed his suitcase from his room, shut off the light, and went to the lobby to sign out.

He didn't dare cry until he was alone in the taxi, driving to the airport.

"Please, let snow fall," he whispered as he watched Seoul disappear into flashy lights through his blurred eyes. "Let it snow."

To remind me that you need me

A year later, they were in they were in the same position.

It was the first time, the very first in all their history that it had snowed the first day of winter two years in a row.

The very first time Myungsoo hadn't cried himself to sleep thinking about the previous year.

The very first time Sungyeol didn't have to stay locked in his hotel room, killing himself as he remembered Myungsoo's sweet kisses from last year.

Who knows? Maybe Winter listened to their goodbye wishes for the first time. Maybe it would cost them the next four years. Nobody knew.

And time, please stop

To fill our hearts with love

Sungyeol looked at Myungsoo, really looked. Noticed how his black eyes flinched each time the clock hit the next minute. How his lips hit each other as his teeth clenched. Every little, adorable detail.

He scoot in closer, letting go go of Myungsoo's hand to hug his waist. Sungyeol laid his head on Myungsoo's shoulder and said to him, "In my hand lays a desired dream."

It felt so right to him. Sungyeol being here, everything. Myungsoo nearly died of happiness when he saw the snow, he really did.

But he knew this wouldn't last - not for very long. He'd learned this from his experience with Sungyeol. Everything would be perfect, but nothing would last forever.

"I've loved you," Myungsoo whispered into the night. He took his eyes off of the clock to really take a good look at his beautiful boyfriend's face.

"...I've loved you," Sungyeol said back. Their eyes locked, and the two leaned in for the last perfect kiss.

"...My sweetheart," their united voices chimed into the night.

Until next time, the clock seemed to tell them as it struck 12 o'clock AM.

I know, this oneshot has a lot of holes and you're probably like, WTF IS THIS SHIZ?! but I want you to fill in the holes by yourself :) ♥ It's actually really choppy if you ask me (which you probably didn't...) but I tried my best ._. school . UGH.

Chapter 50: YESSSSS this story makes me HAPPY !!
I don't know the game! It's an interesting one! One that definitely will make you paranoid of what was being asked about you (if you were called out) .__. Awww poor MyungSoo, but seeing the smirk from SungYeol must have made him even more wondering what was being asked (I agree with SungYeol's answer to that question, damn MyungSoo some nice you have) SungYeol being straightforward by saying he wanted to spend time with MyungSoo, be it in Soo's house or his own house (live across the street wth so great for the future kkk) The straightforward confession, wow SungYeol you are really going for it! I liked it all! Thank you Evie once again, I love your stories!
