"Let's eat now, I'm craving fries!" Anne said, dragging Mei Li in the direction of the food court.

The sisters were at the mall shopping, just the two of them. Mei Li noticed Anne had been hanging out with her more now, and she could see it was intended to distract her from thinking about Luhan and EXO. It did distract her, but it wouldn’t last long. Either way, she appreciated her sister’s effort. Plus, she missed her sister anyways. It was nice for some bonding time.

On their way to the food court, they saw a group of people crowding around something. They went closer to take a look and saw that it was some contest being held to win an ipod. "And the winner is... Nana Kim and Yoonsung Lee!" the host announced.

Amongst the sad groans, a girl shrieked and jumped for joy. A man beside her, presumably Yoonsung, pulled her into a hug and lifted her up in the air, equally ecstatic. They looked so cute and happy together. The girl squealed in surprise and exclaimed in Korean to the man, "Put me down!"

***flashback***

Mei Li was watching EXO practice their songs, working extremely hard. The minute the music played, their expressions changed and Mei Li could see the intensity and seriousness in their eyes. They were all very diligent and hardworking when it came to their dreams – Luhan especially caught her eye. Her eyes seemed to follow him wherever he'd go, and she found herself mesmerized by his image.

Suddenly, the door to the practice room swung open and in came EXO’s manager. "Guys! I have an important announcement to make!"

Sehun went over and stopped the music. EXO gathered around their manager, but Mei Li stayed sitting down on the floor. "Mei Li, you can listen too. I'm sure you'll be happy to hear this as well," their manager told her.

She was confused, but got up and went over to stand beside Luhan. She looked at him for answers, but he just shrugged in return. The manager looked around at all the members with a proud smile on his face. "Your debut date has been set. April 9th," he smiled at all of them.

WHAT? Everyone gasped and started jumping around, unable to control their excitement.

"Mei Li!" Luhan beamed, extremely happy.

Before she could congratulate him, he pulled her into a hug and lifted her up off the ground, spinning her around in the air. Her arms were wrapped around his neck in shock from not feeling the ground beneath her feet. "Oppa! Put me down!"
