Kris stared at Mei Li blankly, not understanding what she meant by 'later.'

"You said we would talk about it later!" Mei Li beamed.

"Talk about what?"

"You know who!" she insisted.

Tao came out of Lay and Chen's to head to his own. "Who's you know who?" he asked.

"Mind your own business," Kris told him coldly.

Tao pouted before going into his room. "Hmmph, meanie."

Mei Li looked up at Kris. Dang, he's tall. "So are you going to tell me more now?" she pleaded, smiling.

He narrowed his eyes at her.

"Please, oppa?" she added.

With a frustrated sigh, he gave in. "Fine."

He let her into his room and closed the door. She jumped onto the huge bed and grabbed a pillow, hugging it as she sat cross-legged. "Now spill!" she demanded.

"Wait," he said in English.

She was confused as he went over to the door again and flung it open. Tao fell into the room and looked at Kris awkwardly. "Hehe, sorry," he smiled sheepishly.

Kris rolled his eyes, expecting that the maknae would be eavesdropping. "Get out. Now."

Tao was about to protest, but Kris gave him his deadliest glare. The maknae shrunk, his shoulders deflating as he obeyed and left the room. "Wow, how did you know?"she asked him.

He shrugged. "Predictable Tao," he said in English.

From then on, they continued their conversation in English just in case Tao would be back again. "You should tell her!" Mei Li insisted.

"Why? And just get rejected?" Then never be able to face her again? I don't think so.

"You never know what's going to happen!" Ughh, I wish I could just tell him that Jessica feels the same way.

He sighed, "Knowing my personality, I don't think Jessica noona would even glance at me." At all.

Yea you're right, she won't glance, she'll stare at you. "What's wrong with your personality?"

He gave her a you've-got-to-be-kidding-me look. "Out of everyone in EXO-M, I'd probably be the least compatible with you, am I right?"

Mei Li thought about it and knew Kris was kind of right - he just wasn't her type. "But that's just me! I'm not Jessica!"

"Like Lay and Chen pointed out, you two are very alike."

"You don't know that! Jessica told me about her ideal type of guy and you fit her standards!" Mei Li half-lied. Jessica had never told her what type of guy she liked, just who.

His lips slightly twitched. "Really?"

Mei Li nodded fast and grinned. He studied her every move to see any hint of dishonesty, but half-lying worked. Her bad acting wasn't so apparent to others. "But still, how would I tell her anyways?" he asked, sighing.

Yaaaaay! You're considering it! "Just tell her exactly how you feel!" Mei Li replied.

"But I don't know how I feel..." he trailed off.

"Wow, I haven't seen the great leader be so flustered about something!" she teased.

He glared at Mei Li. "And you'll be the only one to see or hear about this."

"Yea yea yea, I know."

His expression turned back to normal. "So how am I supposed to tell her again?"

It's working! "Here! Pretend I'm Jessica and confess to me," Mei Li suggested, getting up from the bed.

He looked at her awkwardly. "It's just pretend, geez!" she added, noticing his uncomfortable expression.

He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath before staring back at her. She noticed that his eyes were gentler – totally different.

"I need to tell you something," he started, back to talking in Korean since that would probably be the language he'd use to talk to Jessica.

"What is it?" Mei Li asked him, getting into her role as Jessica.

It was silent for a bit before he answered, "I...like you."

She looked at him in fake shock with shaped like an 'o.' He continued, gazing deeply into her eyes. "I don't care what the other members say, I don't care if they're against it, I don't care if anyone is against it. I can't help it. I like you."

And you said you didn't know what to say? PFFFT! Jessica would spaz if she heard this confession! But of course, she'd act cool about it. Mei Li controlled her inner fan girl.

"Are you sure this is right?" Mei Li asked him, trying to think of what Jessica would say in a situation like this. "What about President Lee?"

"He's alright with Luhan so why shouldn't it be okay with me?" Kris stated, "Believe me, I've tried to stop liking you. It doesn't work, and I don't think it ever will."

Mei Li pretended to be nervous and shy. "I...feel the same way...b—"

He cut her off, "I don't care if people think I'm crazy for telling you this. President Lee accepted Luhan. He can't just not accept me. Luhan would understand how I feel about you too. He wouldn't think I've gone insane."

Meanwhile, Luhan finished showering and walked out in shorts and the shirt that Lay had lent to him. He went out of the room to look for Mei Li. He first went to Tao's room, thinking she'd be playing with the maknae right now.

"Noona's playing with Kris," Tao complained, trying to get Luhan to pity him and play with him.

"Okay thanks," Luhan ignored his whining and walked out before he could make him feel guiltier.
