Luhan piggybacked Mei Li all the way down to the third floor where the party was at.

You better be tired now. Hmmph, making me walk up all those stairs. Mei Li thought, smirking secretly. “You can put me down now,” she said as they reached the door.

He did as she instructed, then straightened his clothes out. He rubbed his shoulder, complaining and feigning hurt. “Yah, in the time I haven’t seen you, you’ve been sitting at home eating all day, huh?” he teased.

“Oppa!” She huffed and pouted, crossing her arms.

Luhan laughed and pinched Mei Li’s right cheek. “Aww, don’t be embarrassed about it.”

Mei Li felt blood rush to her cheeks since he was probably right. I’ve been eating more in the months that I haven’t seen Luhan, since we haven’t been able to go out. And, I don’t really have many other friends, so I’ve been cooped up at home for a long time.

She didn’t punch him like usually since she believed what he said was true. So she just sighed and unfolded her arms.

He stopped pinching her and cupped her face with both hands. “Even if you were two hundred pounds, I’d still love you,” he confessed, staring into her eyes.

She gazed back at him and he smiled at her. “Come on, let’s go inside,” he said, reaching out to take her hand.

She pulled it away before he could grasp it. “What if people see us?” she exclaimed.

He blinked in confusion and replied, “Then they see us. This is the same thing as the Christmas party.”

“But the Christmas party was for celebrities only, I was the only exception,” Mei Li explained.

“And…? You’re the only exception this time too,” he answered.

“Aren’t there non-celebrities here too?”

“No…why would you think that?” Luhan asked, confused.

***flashback***

Mei Li quickly called for a taxi and set off to SM ENT.

Once she arrived, she gave the taxi driver money and went up to the security guards standing at the entrance.

“Name?” one of them asked.

“Chen Mei Li,” Mei Li replied. Guess they have other guests that are non-idols besides me? Last time at the Christmas party, I had to get Luhan to come and settle the situation.

The guard took out his phone and looked at it, then back at me. “Okay, you may go in now, he will you,” he said, gesturing towards one of the other guards behind him.

I need an ? Don’t they just tell me what floor and I go up by myself? Mei Li thought, perplexed. Eh, maybe they’re stricter with security now.

***end of flashback***

As if reading her mind, Luhan nodded in understanding. “Ahhh, because of the situation at the entrance?”

Mei LI nodded and he continued. “That was simply for my surprise on the rooftop. I thought you understood, since you obviously realized that the elevator isn’t broken,” he pointed out, smiling awkwardly.

Mei Li thought about it bit her lip sheepishly. Wow, I’m slow. But wait a second…he knows I know about the elevator?

She was about to speak but Luhan cut her off again. “Yes, I know you know about the elevator.”

Mei Li was startled by how he knew what she was going to ask again. “Then why did you piggyback me?”

“Well your ‘revenge’ was cute,” he replied, slightly blushing.

Mei Li giggled, seeing his embarrassed and flustered expression.

“Aish, let’s go inside!” he insisted, trying to hide his pink cheeks while he dragged her into the party.

“Who’s the ttalgi now…” Mei Li mumbled.

“What?”

“Huh? Oh, nothing,” she replied, smiling innocently.

Aish, if I let her see me blush, she’s going to call me ttalgi instead. Luhan shuddered at the thought.

He dragged her into the party and looked around for the rest of the EXO members. Once he spotted them, he made his way through the crowds of people, pulling Mei Li firmly behind him.

“Hey, you’re finally back!” Xiumin said.

“Yea, why didn’t you guys just take the elevator?” Tao asked.

Mei Li lightly smacked Luhan on the side of his head. “Owww, why’d you do that?” he whined, rubbing his head.

Luhan awkwardly laughed and looked at Mei Li.

“Because this pabo made me take the stairs all the way to the rooftop,” Mei Li stated.

“Wow, hyung! How could you make your girlfriend that you haven’t seen for months, walk up all those stairs?” Lay exclaimed.

Luhan never told them the details about the surprise event that he had planned for Mei Li. He only told them it was at the rooftop, so they could make sure no one would follow them up there. But instead, they decided to follow.

“You don’t need to know,” Luhan replied coldly.

“Why?” Tao whined again, stomping his foot.

Mei Li laughed at his ‘aegyo’ and let go of Luhan’s hand to take something out of her cardigan. She revealed one of the strawberry post-it notes that he’d written.

I miss seeing my ttalgi’s eyes that shine like diamonds~

Aish, out of all the post-it notes, why show that one? Luhan hid his face.
