"Thank you for loving us ever since our debut, and actually even before that as well," Kris said to the camera. "We promise to keep working hard to put on amazing performances in the future."

"We love you!" Xiumin added, waving with two hands.

"We are one! We are Exo!" they bowed, ending the show.

The director gave the cue to turn off all the cameras and EXO and show staff shook hands before separating.

"You look very young to be their translator," the female emcee said to Mei Li.

Mei Li just smiled and laughed.

"Could it be..." she wiggled her eyebrows at her teasingly, “you're dating one of them?" She whispered the last part of her question.

After officially becoming EXO-M's translator again, Mei Li had been asked this question multiple times, so she could already control her expression pretty well. "Haha, no, they're just very good friends of mine," she replied firmly.

"Ehhhh, come on, you can tell me," the emcee elbowed her. "The cameras are off!"

Mei Li mentally rolled her eyes.

"Mei Mei noona!" Tao called. "Time to go!"

Mei Li smiled at the emcee one last time and bowed before leaving.

They got into the van and EXO drove Mei Li home before driving off to their dorm.

Mei Li unlocked the door to the house and went in.

"Oh, unnie, you're back," Anne said. She was sitting in the living room with a few of her friends, working on a school project.

After Christmas, their mother and Ayi had hired a Korean language teacher for themselves and Anne. Anne learned the fastest out of the three, since she had to go to school too – she got used to it very quickly.

"Hey, Anne," Mei Li answered as she hung up her coat. She went over to her sister and her regular group of friends. "Do you guys want some snacks?"

Her friends lit up and the mention of food. "But mom said no chips for the next month," Anne pouted.

"I'll bake some cookies then," Mei Li offered.

Anne looked at her friends and they nodded, grinning.

"Aren't you tired though? You were working the whole day," Anne pointed out.

"That's okay," Mei Li shrugged. "I'll go change first and then come back to bake the cookies, alright?"

"Thank you, noona!" the two boys beamed.

"Thanks unnie!" the girl added.

Mei Li nodded and went upstairs to change.

Anne stared at her older sister trudging upstairs. She could tell Mei Li was exhausted, but her sister was always this nice.

"Anne, your unnie's the best!" Jiyeon grinned. "I wish I had a sister like her!"

"Yea, and she's hot too," Junho added.

Anne threw the gluestick at him and it hit his face. "What, it's true!" he nudged Joongki next to him. "Right, Joongki?"

His friend continued cutting out the pictures for their poster but replied, "Yea, she's pretty."

Anne smiled at Joongki since he was always the kind nerd who didn't have 'hot' or 'y' in his vocabulary.

However, Junho was just the opposite. "Pretty hot," he smirked.

Anne threw her eraser at him, but he caught it. "Ha, not this time," he stuck his tongue out.

"Stop dreaming, you don't stand a chance with Mei Li unnie," Jiyeon told the boys.

"Why not?" Junho asked, flipping his hair. "Hey, I'm pretty popular with the girls."

Anne couldn't resist scoffing at him.

Jiyeon rolled her eyes. "Sure sure," she mumbled, "think what you want."

Jiyeon, Junho, and Joongki were Anne’s best friends, and pretty much her only friends since she moved to Korea. She didn't have any other true friends besides them.

Word got out that Anne was living with EXO Kris's mom, and ever since then, all the girls in the school would up to her. Jiyeon was the only girl that didn't. Sure, she liked EXO just like any other normal Asian girl, but she didn't pester Anne about them.

As for the boys in the school, Anne didn’t even want to talk about it. Quite a few had made the effort to talk to Anne, but Anne hated their personalities. They thought they were so cool, but they were just arrogant jerks, trying to wheel the new ‘popular’ girl.

Joongki and Junho were different. Joongki was a gentlemen, and Junho...well, he was more of an arrogant -head than a jerk.

"What do you say, Anne?" Junho looked at me. "Can you hook me up with your sister?"

"Pft," I laughed. "Like Jiyeon said, no chance."

He whined. "Oh come on, can't you do your friend a favor."

"You and Mei Li unnie? Psssh, not if you were the last two people on earth," Jiyeon stated.

"How do you know?" Junho retorted.

Because Mei Li's not over Luhan. "Because you're younger than her," Anne lied.

Jiyeon stifled a giggle at the lie.
