Another week passed and Luhan was still ignoring Mei Li. He did answer whenever she asked him something, but he always replied with few words or simple nods.

Mei Li still couldn’t comprehend the fact that they broke up. Her heart still belonged to Luhan, just that he didn’t want it anymore. But her mind didn’t understand that he threw it away.

Currently, they were on a large stage filming yet another Chinese variety show. It was a little different from the rest though and had more of a unique feeling to it. That is, until they got to the interview and questions time.

The emcee would pick people from the audience and they’d ask the members of EXO-M any question they'd like and EXO-M would have to answer honestly. It was limited one question per member though, so it wasn't that difficult. Actually, most of the questions they asked were really common and boring or completely weird.

"Okay, now let's see..." the emcee looked through the audience who were waving their hands frantically, wanting him to choose them. "You, in the plaid shirt!" he pointed at a handsome boy that looked a few years younger than Mei Li.

He came onto the stage and the emcee shared his mic with him. "So who do you want to ask your question to?" the emcee asked him.

It was odd that he had a question, as all the previous people picked from the audience were female.  Mei Li couldn’t predict what he’d ask EXO-M.

Only Xiumin and Tao were left, so she thought he wanted to ask Tao about wushu or something.

Tao and Xiumin were secretly smirking at each other, confident that they wouldn't be the last to get questioned.

The boy held the mic in the emcee's hands and pointed at Mei Li. "Her!"

Wait, what? "Me?" Mei Li blurted, shocked.

"Yes, you!" he smiled sweetly.

Aw, haha! The boy was kind of cute in a little kid-ish way, similar to Tao. However, Mei li’s thoughts evaporated when the boys continued. "Are you single?"

Her expression faltered, but she quickly caught it just in time. She glanced at Luhan, only to see him gazing at the audience blankly, not even looking aware let alone interested in what the boy had to say.

The rest of the members looked at her, worry and concern written clearly in their eyes.

Kris spoke up, "I don't think we should ask her questions. It's not fair for her privacy."

Luhan whipped around and cut in rudely, "You care so much, duizhang..."

Kris fumed on the inside, "Of course I care about our translator. We all do."

"Especially one of you," the emcee noted, thinking it was Kris.

Okay, he helped me up when I fell and now we're suddenly the biggest news on the internet? Really?

Kris stared right into Luhan's eyes while answering the emcee, "Yes – especially one of us."

The two had a stare-down and Mei Li sensed the awkward atmosphere and coughed. "Uhm, well...yes, I'm single," she aswered a little hesitantly.

The cute boy grinned. “Jie jie! What do you think about me?" he asked.

Mei Li found him cute, but a little brother type of cute. However, she didn’t want to embarrass him on front of everyone, not to mention live television, so she laughed and replied, “Not bad.”

The boy's mouth stretched into the biggest grin possible and the emcee gasped, "Kris, are you jealous?"

The audience all focused on Kris, but the rest of the members and Mei Li turned to Luhan. Nothing seemed to make him jealous anymore, and it looked like it was also true for today.

Kris didn't say anything and simply stared coldly at Luhan while Luhan did the same in return.

Tension filled the air as the members shifted in their seats uncomfortably, so Tao spoke up. "One of us is definitely burning with jealousy on the inside right now, I can tell you that."

Luhan and Kris broke their stare-down when the boy took the mic again. "So I have a chance with you then, jie jie? You're so pretty!" he cooed.

Mei Li smiled awkwardly and thanked him, blushing. She really did blush easily, no matter who it was that complimented or . But in this situation, she was mainly blushing because he said it on live television and millions of people would be watching, not to mention that Luhan was sitting just meters away from her, listening to this boy.

Kris is such a wuss. Why doesn't he just admit that he's jealous? You know what, you should just ask her to be your girlfriend here on live television! Oh how romantic would that be? Instead of rolling his eyes like he wanted to, Luhan kept a smile on hisface, or at least, a blank expression. He still had to maintain the so-called ‘star image.’ That boy's so shallow too, liking Mei Li because she's pretty. Yes, she is definitely beautiful, but that's not her best point. And stop trying to act cute, you fake.
