"Are you all set?"Ayi asked cheerfully.

It was early morning, and everyone was gathered in the living room to go to the airport. EXO would be leaving first, and Ayi and Mei Li's family would be leaving a few hours later, since the first plane was filled. However, everyone was awake already.

"Yes, mom, we're just waiting for Xiumin," Kris replied.

After Ayi had told them that she and Mei Li's family would be moving to Korea, Luhan was speechless. They were all speechless.

Still, they were all happy about it; that is, except for Mei Li. She had a blank expression on her face the entire time, and she hadn’t said a word to anyone since that night. Mei Li's mom was afraid she made the wrong decision, which is why she too had been quiet the past few days.

Does she not want to move to Korea? Luhan wondered.

Mei Li and Anne came down and sat on the couches in the living room. Anne couldn't sit still and her grin was bigger than usual. Mei Li's lips were in a thin line, and she refused to look at the boys.

"Okay, let's go!" Xiumin said, coming out of the washroom.

They took their luggage to the two taxis waiting for them outside and split up into groups of three: Xiumin, Lay, and Chen, then Kris, Tao, and Luhan. "Hyung, do you think noona's mad at us?" Tao asked Kris.

"Yea, it seems like it," he replied truthfully.

"Why? I thought she would be excited to go back to Korea with us," Tao pouted.

"I think she's mad because we were going to leave without telling her," Kris explained.

So that's why... Luhan nodded.

"Noona will get over it, won't she?" Tao asked. "Right, Luhan?"

"Mei Li can't stay mad forever, you know her," Luhan replied. "Don't worry."

"Hey wait, guys, I have an idea..." Kris whispered.

"Unnie, why do you look so...so...dead?" Anne asked once they were separated from their mother and Ayi.

"I look dead?" Mei Li asked back.

Anne nodded. "I thought we'd be spazzing together about going to Korea, but you don't seem very happy about it."

Mei Li sighed. "Sorry, Anne. I am happy, it's just...how could they?"

"How could they what?" Anne asked, confused.

"Plan on leaving without telling us," Mei Li explained as she changed into leggings and an over-sized tee.

"Is that why you're being so cold to them?"

"I'm not being cold," Mei Li denied.

"Yes, you are," Anne insisted, "you won't even look at them."

Mei Li sighed. "Okay, maybe I'm a little mad at them."

"Unnie, they were only caring for you, you know that."

Mei Li slipped on her jacket and put on the red tuque that Luhan gave her.

"They mean well, unnie," Anne continued and smiled. "Come on, it's almost Christmas, don't be such a party pooper."

She managed to make Mei Li crack a smile. "Oh yea, Christmas is in three days."

"Exactly!" Anne exclaimed. "So stop pouting and be happy! Oh my gosh, do you think we'll be invited to some celebrity Christmas party?"

Mei Li chuckled at the sight of Anne having another spaz attack. "Don't get your hopes up."

Someone knocked on the door to our room and Mei Li opened it. "Are you two ready?" her mother asked.

"Yes!" Anne exclaimed, grabbing her bag and running past mom to go downstairs.

Their mother shook her head in amusement and then turned to Mei Li. "Ready, Mei Li?”

Mei Li nodded silently and grabbed her bag.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?" her mother asked. "We don't have to do this."

"Are you kidding? We kind of have to now or Anne will go into a state of depression," Mei Li half-joked.

She took it seriously and stopped her. "But what about you? I only agreed to this because I thought it'd be good for you and your sister, but if not—"

"I'm okay, mom, really," Mei Li smiled.

"You sure, sweetie?" she asked again with worried eyes.

"Yes, mom," Mei Li replied, "besides, I can't wait to go shopping in Korea again."

She finally grinned and her eyes brightened immediately. "Then let's go!"

They went downstairs and Anne and Ayi quickly dragged the two of them out to the taxi waiting for them. They were both equally excited and kept chattering during the whole car ride to the airport.

When they got to the airport, there were surprisingly still EXO fans around. News probably spread that EXO was here in Vancouver. Mei Li thought. The girls had frowns on their faces so Mei Li assumed that they missed EXO and came too late.

Once they got on the plane, she immediately fell asleep to the sound of Anne talking to herself, unable to contain her excitement. Her mother and Ayi were watching a Korean drama called Autumn in my Heart that Ayi had downloaded into her laptop. They both fan-girled over how handsome Wonbin was, and would giggle e
