Mei Li’s eyes burned as she watched Xinyu put her filthy hands all over Luhan's body, but the indescribable pain only came when Luhan responded to her and...enjoyed it. She’d gotten up from her seat and ran out of the room without even knowing where she was heading. Anywhere but there was better.

She sprinted down the hall and came to a dead-end, so she opened the door to the furthest room and went in. She knew she wouldn't be able to stop herself from crying, so at least she could stop people from seeing her in her broken state. It was like the night that man had harrassed her, and Luhan had saved her.

Mei Li stared at him again, so Luhan smiled once more.

And something about that made her feel like she could trust him.

Ever since she moved to Korea, several boys were nice to her – over-the-top nice. Eventually, she discovered that all of them wanted her for the same thing. She didn’t even want to think about the three-letter word…

She hesitated a bit before answering, “Yes.”

He gasped at her sudden response and , “So you do talk!”

She laughed again and Luhan smiled for the third time. “You know, I don’t let just anyone lie on my bed,” he said.

“Oh…sorry,” she replied as she started to get up.

He gently pushed her back down and added, “But you’re an exception.”

The two slowly started talking and eventually warmed up to each other. Luhan never once mentioned the incident and merely asked the girl about her life. He learned that she was two years younger than her, and she discovered that he’s also Chinese, and is preparing to debut in a group called EXO-M, and the other boys that helped her were part of the group as well.

Suddenly, the door swung open and in came Lay. “Hyung, the police have arrived.”

“Oh, uh…” Luhan glanced at the girl hesitantly.

“It’s okay, let’s go,” she replied, getting up.

He helped her stand up and wrapped his jacket over her shoulders. “Thank you,” she smiled gratefully as they walked out to the living room.

However, the physical pain from that night was nothing compared to what she was feeling right now, emotionally. It felt like everything that she had tried so badly to hide and keep inside, was exploding all at once.
