"We're here," Luhan announced as the taxi came to a stop by the roadside.

He paid the taxi driver and they took the luggage out of the cab.

EXO had been given more vacation time now that had been another year, so most of them were off visiting their parents. Luhan was planning on spending the weekend with his parents in Haidian, Beijing.

It was night time so he didn't really have to worry about anyone recognizing him because there were barely any people around. Mei Li rolled her suitcase up to the doorstep of his parents' home.

Luhan stood next to her and pressed the door bell.

Mei Li was rather nervous because it was the first time she’d be meeting Luhan's parents. What if they don't like me? What if they forbid him to be with me?

"Hey," Luhan whispered, as if he read her thoughts. "Don't worry, they're going to love you."

She forced a smile and nodded slightly.

The door opened, revealing a middle-aged woman with the widest grin on her face. "Luhan!"

She instantly pulled her son in for a hug and he hugged her back, smiling like crazy. He must really miss his parents."Miss you, mama," he said.

They broke apart and his mother smiled. "I miss you too."

Luhan then took Mei Li’s hand and grinned at his mom. "Mama, this is Mei Li. My girlfriend."

"Ahnyeongha—" Mei Li paused. "Oops, sorry!"

Why did I just speak in Korean?

"Nice to meet you," Mei Li greeted her in Chinese.

Thankfully, she just chuckled. "Luhan's told me a lot about you! I thought he was exaggerating but wow, you really are pretty!"

Mei Li blushed. "Thanks."

"Honey, Luhan's finally here, and so is his girlfriend!" she shouted, looking upstairs.

"I'm coming!" a voice answered.

Soon, his father came down to see them as well.

"Nice to meet you," Mei Li bowed to him. "My name's Chen Mei Li."

"Is my Luhan treating you properly?" he asked. "Because if he isn't, just tell me and I'll scold him for you," he chuckled, his eyes turning into upside-down crescent moons.

Mei Li laughed, surprised at his carefree personality.

"That's right!" his mother added. "Just come to us if Luhan ever hurts you in any way."

"Hey!" Luhan cut in. "What kind of son do you think you raised?"

"A clueless one," his mother joked.

"I'm surprised you got yourself such a beautiful girlfriend," his father added.

Luhan pouted. "You guys are more interested in seeing Mei Li when you haven't seen me in so long!"

"This is the first time I'm meeting Mei Li," his mom explained. "How can I not be curious as to who my future daughter-in-law may be?"

Mei Li blushed at her statement and looked down, embarrassed. Luhan squeezed her hand. "Can I show Mei Li the guest room now?" he asked them.

"Yes, we've cleared out the room for her," his father nodded.

Mei Li thanked them and moved to take her suitcase to follow Luhan upstairs.

"Luhan! What are you doing not carrying her suitcase for her?" his mother scolded him, grabbing the suitcase from her and handing it to Luhan. "Now that's more like it," she nodded in approval when he took it reluctantly.

Luhan ended up trudging up the stairs with a heavy suitcase in each hand, while Mei Li just followed quietly behind him, trying not to laugh.

They reached the guest room and Luhan opened the door. "Tada!"

She followed him in and surveyed the room. She could tell that his parents had spent time cleaning and tidying everything up. It looked immaculate. She particularly liked the huge comfy-looking bed in the center.

She took a seat on it and grabbed the pillow, hugging it. "I like it," she stated.

He glanced around the room and gaped. "Wow, this room wasn't purple before," he stated, noting the colour of the walls. "I guess my parents repainted it because I told them your favourite colour was purple."

Mei Li’s jaw dropped. "Seriously?" she smiled. "Wow, they didn't have to do that. I'm only going to be here for a few days."

Luhan set the suitcases down and came over to the bed. He sat on the other edge and rested his head on my lap. "I guess they're expecting you to visit them with me in the future as well."

She looked down at him and grinned. "I wouldn't mind that. Your parents are really nice."

"I told you they'd like you," he stated. "Even more than I thought they would."

"Is that a bad thing?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Well...no, but now we'll probably never be alone during this weekend," Luhan sighed.

"At least you get to spend more time with your parents," she pointed out.

He scoffed. "I think they're going to be spending more time with you, not me."

Mei li giggled and Luhan got up. "Let's go to my room now, I'm kind of curious as to what it looks like now."

Mei Li nodded and Luhan grabbed his suitcase before heading over to his room. Coincidentally, it was the room right next door. He opened the door and they walked in.

The walls were blue, and there were shelves with tons of cd's, dvd's, and books. The walls were also covered with posters from several groups: Dbsk, Super Junior, Snsd, etc. The one poster that caught her eye was a poster of the actress, Kim Taehee.

She ran up closer to it because she noticed some writing on it.

Pretty noona, I'm definitely going to marry you!

She burst out laughing at the words written in black felt marker. "Hahahah, oppa! What is this?"

"What?" he raised his eyebrow, confused.

He went over to her and squinted at the poster. Upon reading the words, his eyes widened and his cheeks turned red. "I do not remember writing that."

"Sure you don't," Mei Li stated, stifling her laughter.

As he scanned all of his other posters for embarrassing messages, Mei Li walked over to the dresser and noticed a picture frame sitting
