Narrator’s POV
Haerin smiled as she found L.joe sitting alone inside their classroom. His arm was still in a cast, but he was better now.
“Good morning, Byunghun.”
“Did you bring the report?” L.joe asked. Haerin chuckled and sat beside him.
“Haerin?”
“Hmm?”
“Why aren’t you…..avoiding me?”
Haerin’s brows furrowed.
“Because you’re Byunghun, my good friend.”
“But I told you~”
“I know you know. And I really would like to keep our friendship, is that so hard?” Haerin asked. L.joe looked down.
“Ani.”
Haerin smiled.
“So are we back to normal now?”
L.joe nodded, Haerin took out her hand, he shook it.
“You being the goody two shoes that attracts trouble?” L.joe raised one brow tauntingly.
“You being the rude gangster?” Haerin chuckled.
“Well here it is.” She took out a folder from her bag and gave it to him. L.joe nodded.
“I’m going to grab lunch with the guys, do you wanna join?” She asked as she stood up.
“Aniya, I’m not hungry.” He shook his head.
Haerin nodded and left.
L.joe sighed as soon as she left. He felt one tear fall on his cheek.
“I guess, I’ll just have to start seeing you as Haerin, just a friend.” He nodded to himself.
Myungsoo’s POV
Haerin sat beside me with a can of grape juice and a slice of pizza.
“That looks unhealthy.” I said. She smiled and began eating.
“You two, hide me, quick!” Kai sai as he sat in front of us while attempting to hide his face with the uniform blazer.
Haerin looked at him with confusion.
“Kai, whats~”
“Oppa? Kai oppa? Where did you go?”
We all looked up at Jiae who was looking for him.
I chuckled.
“Well, taste of his own medicine.” I said. Haerin smiled and poked his head.
“She’s gone now, Jonginie. Go and run.” She chuckled. Kai sat up and gave us a look before leaving.
“Poor Kai.” Haerin said. I smiled and took her hand.
“How are things with Byunghun?”
“Better. I’m glad he agreed to be my friend.”
Narrator’s POV
Myungsoo nodded and kissed her cheek.
“Our agasshi’s happy.” He chuckled.
Haerin smiled.
“Why is your bestie running away, Haerinnie?” Dongwoo said as he sat down, followed by the other Infinite boys who also had questioning looks. Myungsoo smirked and nudged her. Haerin smiled.
“You wouldn’t want to know, oppa.” Haerin chuckled as Myungsoo smirked.
“It kinda serves him right, being the playboy that he is.” L nodded.
