Chapter 50
The Presidential Son: Senior Year
Narrator’s POV
Haerin blinked at the empty seat beside hers.
“I wonder where that person is?” She muttered as she sat down. Then Lee Joon came running in the room.
“Haerin-ssi!”
Haerin looked up.
“Is something wrong?” She asked.
“It’s your friend! L.joe!” Joon said in a hurry, Haerin looked at him.
“Some people are beating him!”
Joon led Haerin to one of the unused buildingsin the campus. Worry painted on Haerin’s face as she kept up with Joon. She knew this would happen due to L.joe’s gangster nature. She even forgot who Lee Joon was.
They went up to the third floor and Joon opened the door.
“He’s here!” He said. Haerin ran into the room, she was shocked to find it empty except for a few dusty desks. She looked at Joon.
“Or not.” He smirked and shut the door. Haerin ran to the door.
“Joon! What are you doing? Ya!” She kept on banging the door.
Lee Joon just smirked and went to his friends who were at the other room.
L.joe’s POV
Maybe not seeing her today might do me some good. I already gave up my chance for her safety and I know I have to forget her. She’s better off with Myungsoo anyway.
“Why are you ditching?” CAP hyung sat beside me. I shook my head.
“Have you seen Lee Joon around? I hate that punk.” He said.
“We all do, hyung.” I nodded.
“If you’re here, then who’s with Haerin at class?” Niel asked.
“It’s still early, I don’t think she’s already there, plus our classmates are already there I think.”
I saw Myungsoo walk to the building with his friends.
Didn’t they patch up together? Why isn’t he with her?
Then I saw her three friends get out from their cars.
She’s alone.
Myungsoo’s POV
I got inside the building, when my phone rang.
“Agasshi?” I asked.
“Myungsoo!” She was crying. I stopped walking.
“Haerin-ah, is something wrong?”
The hyungs looked at me.
“Lee Joon, tricked me. I’m…trapped!”
“Where?!”
“A little tricky aren’t we, Haerin-ssi?” I heard a male’s voice.
“The old building~”
The line went off.
Narrator’s POV
Myungsoo ran out of the building. His friends looked at him in concern.
“It was Haerin.” Sungyeol said. Then they saw Byunghun with his friends running in the same direction.
“I sense trouble, let’s go.” Sunngyu nodded.
Haerin bit back her tears as Lee Joon tied her hands.
“Aigoo, our L.joe’s angel.” He chuckled to himself. Seungho crossed his arms.
“She’s pretty, that idiot has good taste then.”
Joon nodded and pulled her chin up. Haerin glared at him.
“Don’t cry, Haerin. You still have me.” He cooed and kissed her cheek.
“Let me go! You liar!”
Joon smirked and stood up.
“You’re the perfect bait for L.joe, when he gets here, you can go. As long as we kill him.”
Haerin gasped.
Daehan has six old buildings in total. Myungsoo ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. He didn’t want to waste time and at the same time he needs to know where she was.
Then he noticed that on one of the buildings, rooms on the third floor were lit.
L.joe’s phone rang as he was running.
“Looking for someone?”
“Let her go!” He hissed.
“Why would I let your girl friend go, L.joe?”
“She’s not my girl friend.”
“Don’t deny it. She is.”
“No, she is not!”
“Well, I guess I can have her then. Thanks.”
