Narrator’s POV

“Okay, so I’m sure everyone has heard about this year’s project for Business students right?”

Sighs came from students. Haerin grinned at L.joe’s reaction.

“We will be assigning you to places where in you will stay for five days. You are to observe the city’s daily activities and livelihood. After that you are to conduct a research and start a small business in the city.”

The professor cleared his throat.

“You will be going by groups. The school has already assigned for your living quarters. The list is already posted at the division’s bulletin board. You all are dismissed.”

Haerin stood up and got her bag, but then someone pulled the strap back.

“Is your….cut okay now?” Byunghun cleared his throat.

“Why cant you just catch someone’s attention in a normal way?” Haerin said and pulled her bag back.

“It’s fine, thanks for asking.” She nodded.

“Are…..you having lunch now?”

“I am, why?” Haerin nodded.

“Ricky…..asked me if…you could join us…”

“Ah, I’m sorry, I already promised someone, maybe tomorrow.” Haerin patted his shoulder and left.

“You’re on Group 3!” Hyorin called her over. Haerin stood on her tippy toes to get a view of the list amidst the crowd of students.

“Yes! I’m with L sunbae! This is going to be fun.” One girl spazzed. Hyorin blinked at Haerin.

“I have…….Hoya oppa with me.” She blinked at the list of names.

“Kim Myungsoo is in my group!” A girl squealed.

“Nam Woohyun too!”

“L oppa has to be my partner!”

Hyorin grew a little annoyed at her friend’s lack of reaction.

“I hope we share the same room!” Two girls giggled together. Hyorin’s jaws dropped.

“L oppa is~”

“Why are you all talking about me?” A voice asked.

 Haerin took her eyes off the list and found Myungsoo looking at her.

Girls gasped as they realized who it was.

Myungsoo’s POV

“Oh, it’s you.” She grinned.

“We’re not on the same group.” I said.

“I’m with Hoya oppa.” She nodded.

“Not relevant.” I pinched her cheek.

“I think it will be fun.” She said as we walked to the cafeteria.

“Really? Because I’m not there?” I chided.

“Are you being bitter towards Hoya oppa right now?” She chukled as I opened the door for her.

“Should I be~”

“Noona!”

I looked at the guy in front of us.

“Oh, Changjo, hi.” Haerin waved at him.

“Will you be joining us for lunch?”

WHY IS HE ASKING HER THAT?!

“Ah, Byunghun didn’t tell you?”

Byunghun? The same Lee Byunghun that Haerin talks about?

That guy who can identify my girl friend’s voice?

“Ani, L.joe hyung didn’t come with us.”

“I see, I cant join you guys, don’t worry, I’ll join you tomorrow.” She smiled.

I looked at her.

TOMORROW?!

Narrator’s POV

Myungsoo grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in line for food.

“Myungsoo, what’s wrong?” She murmured as she fixed her uniform.

“Why are you joining them tomorrow?” He almost hissed.

“They’re new students, they need friends.”

“We have tons of students here.”

“But~”

“Let’s just get food, gangsternim.” She smiled and handed him a tray.

Haerin sat beside Kai who was eating alone. Myungsoo sat across from her and made a face. She just grinned.

“You didn’t tell me.” Kai said.

“Mian, Sehun and I thought it would be better if you didn’t.”

“I don’t understand….why is she back?” Kai murmured and leaned on her. Myungsoo’s brows furrowed.

“Is this…about the girl from the festival?” He asked carefully. Haerin gave him a nod.

“Why? I thought she left permanently~”

“I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE, YOU CHEAP !” A voice boomed, making Kai and Myungsoo sit up.
