Chapter 45
The Presidential Son: Senior Year
Narrator’s POV
L.joe sat beside her quietly.
“Good morning, Haerin.” He said carefully. Haerin nodded back at him. He frowned.
“I hope your brother gets well soon.” He added.
“I hope too.” Haerin sighed. L.joe looked at her face, then he remembered wht he heard earlier.
“Haerin~”
The doors suddenly opened, Myungsoo walked in the place. L.joe saw Haerin tense and look away.
“Haerin-ah, let’s talk.” L said softly. L.joe sat back on his seat.
“I’m busy.” Haerin said without looking up.
“Haerin please.” L said. Haerin didn’t look at him. Myungsoo sighed and pulled her wrist.
“Myungsoo~” Haerin pulled her hand back, but Myungsoo held on it firmly.
Then suddenly, L.joe stood up and pulled Haerin’s arm out of Myungsoo’s grasp.
“She said she doesn’t want to.” L.joe spat.
Everyone felt the atmosphere change. Students looked at the two. L glared at L.joe, L.joe didn’t even falter.
“Stop forcing her.” He hissed.
“Mind your own business.” Myungsoo snapped.
“She said she doesn’t want~”
“Stop it. We’re in class, Myungsoo. You’re disrupting everyone.” Haerin said. L looked at her.
“Haerin-ah~”
“Just go.”
L.joe’s POV
Haerin closed her book and put her hands together.
“Ya….what’s wrong?”
“Tell the professor I’m not feeling well. I’ll see you tomorrow~” She said as she stood up.
“Haerin~”
“I’m fine. See you.” She smiled briefly.
Why did she have to leave? I can’t sit alone here in my desk. I looked around me, people were already gossiping. I sighed.
I still have ten minutes till the teacher arrives.
I grabbed my bag and went out of the room.
There’s only one place where Haerin usually goes when she’s bored. The school’s garden.
Narrator’s POV
L.joe made his way the school’s garden. Then he saw Haerin she was standing up and talking to someone.
“Myung~”
His eyes widened when he recognized whom Haerin was talking to.
“Sh.t” He hissed to himself.
“Ah, new student?” Haerin nodded while trying to hide her emotions.
“Yeah, I am. I just moved from Suwon, do you know where the Student Affairs office is?” He asked.
“Yes, just go to that building over there and it’s the first door on the third floor. I’m sorry I can’t come with you, I have to go. But feel free to ask around, I’m sure students would gladly help you.”
Lee Joon nodded and stuck out his hand.
“I’m Lee Joon by the way.”
Haerin took his hand and shook it.
“Haerin, Park Haerin, welcome to Daehan, Lee Joon.”
