Chapter 26
The Presidential Son: Senior Year
Narrator’s POV
Myungsoo and Haerin walked out of the house.
“Is Kai okay now?” He asked.
“I don’t know. Jiyeon still affects him.” She muttered.
“I didn’t know one girl could affect him so much.”
“Jiyeon……is the first girl Kai loved…but then she left without a word. It crushed him.”
Myungsoo was quiet. Then he took off his cardigan and placed it around her.
Myungsoo took her hand as they walked.
“That must be him.” Ricky nodded. They were sitting outside of their house, while Niel and CAP were cooking inside.
They saw Haerin walking with a good-looking guy.
“He looks familiar.” Chunji said. L.joe looked at them, he felt something bother him. He shook his head and crossed his arms.
His eyes widened when Haerin wrapped her arm around the guy’s.
“That’s the boy friend.” Ricky said, unknowingly, he was annoying his hyung.
“I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere.” Chunji said.
“Same here hyung, he looks familiar.” Changjo nodded. L.joe narrowed his eyes at them and went inside the house.
“I brought food.” Haerin smiled as she stopped Myungsoo on front of the cafeteria’s entrance.
“Agasshi kept her promise.” Myungsoo smiled and took her hand.
“Of course.” She nodded.
“Garden?” Myungsoo asked.
“Anywhere is fine. As long as we don’t get burned by the sun~”
“Did you hear? L and Haerin are on different groups!.....Good for her!...L has been tied to her ever since!”
Haerin looked at the girls who were talking with their backs facing them. She suppressed a smile as she pulled Myungsoo with her.
“Why must you be on another group?” Myungsoo muttered as they sat down. Haerin just smiled and took out the food.
“I think it’ll be fun, I’m really curious about the place.”
L.joe’s POV
Haerin entered just in time as the professor started his lecture.
“You’re late. That’s a first.”
“I know. I had some things to deal with.” She replied as she placed her bag down.
“How was your weekend, Byunghun?”
“How many times do I have to tell you to call me L~”
“I think Byunghun is better.” She rolled her eyes at me.
“It was fine. Yours?”
“How did you know Jiyeon?” She asked. I looked away.
“It’s none of your business.”
She nodded.
“She knows your friend, right?” I looked at her.
“It’s none of your business.” She stuck her tongue out. I chuckled.
Narrator’s POV
Students gaped as they saw an actual smile on L.joe’s face. No one has seen him smile yet. Girls swooned and guys just rolled their eyes.
“What group are you in?” Haerin asked.
L.joe raised three fingers.
“Three? Me too.” Haerin nodded.
In the deepest recesses of L.joe’s heart, even though he won’t admit it, he felt happy that they were on the same group.
“Too bad then.” He teased.
“I know right.” Haerin grinned and took out her notes.
