Chapter 16
The Presidential Son: Senior Year
Narrator’s POV
Haerin puffed her cheeks as she started to walk towards their house-slash-dorm. She checked the time, it was almost six pm.
“I’m sure Kai’s done by now.” She muttered as she took out her mp3 player.
“I told you not to walk alone.” Sehun said flatly. Haerin jumped a little.
“You’re such a creep, Sehunie.” She muttered. Sehun shrugged.
“Do you think Kai’s done~”
“We’ll gate crash!” He giggled. Haerin shook her head. And hit his shoulder.
“Where’s Tao ge?” She asked.
“Probably went out to eat.”
They finally arrived at their doorstep while bickering. Kai’s black Audi wasn’t around, meaning he left already.
“Sehun, open the door~”
“Haerin-ah?”
They both turned at the voice.
Your POV
“Ji---Jiyeon-ah.” I stuttered. I felt Sehun tense beside me.
“How are you doing? Doing well I hope.” She smiled.
“I am, what about you?” I asked. I felt Sehun pull on my sweater.
“I’m okay….is…..Kai in?”
“No.” Sehun snapped before opening the door.
“If you excuse us, we need to go in.” Sehun added before shutting the door behind us.
“Sehun, that was rude!” I hissed.
“I hope she’s gone by the time hyung arrives. Cook dinner.” Sehun said before going to his room.
I sighed. Kai shouldn’t know she’s back…or does he already know?
But…she caused him so much~
“I bought dinner, don’t cook.” I felt Kai poke my cheek.
“Y—you’re home.” I balked.
Narrator’s POV
Haerin froze when she realized that Kai was already home.
“What’s with you? Have you seen a ghost?” Kai asked as he took out some dishes.
“A—ani.” She shook her head.
“Sehun! Gege! Let’s eat!” She called and rushed out of the kitchen. Kai shook his head as he watched his friend run out.
“Slow down, ge.” Haerin said as Tao wolfed down his food. Kai chuckled. Sehun kicked Haerin’s foot under the table.
“Mwo?” She muttered.
“Don’t tell him.” He whispered.
“But~”
“Just don’t.”
Haerin nodded meekly and continued eating while looking at Kai with worry in her eyes.
Your POV
After eating, I went up to my room.
Why is Jiyeon back? I thought she left for good.
“Mei?” Tao ge opened the door.
“What is it ge?”
“It’s the school festival tomorrow!”
“I know~”
“And you’re coming with us, Myungsoo wont be with you tomorrow.”
I blinked at him.
“He already scheduled it.” Kai appeared by the doorway with his arms crossed.
“It’s been a long time since we had a best friends bonding day.” He grinned.
“Well, that’s sounds nice.” Sehun appeared and pushed the two. He sat down on my couch and switched on the television.
“Don’t you have your own television, Sehunie?”
He just shrugged.
Well, some thigns never change, do they?
