I turned around and saw Kris walking in the room. The door clicked as he closed them. 

I couldn’t help but look into his judging eyes. "What?" I asked. "You should’ve locked the doors. There are fans wandering around here, you don’t want to get caught." Kris, being the leader, scolded us. "Sorry Oppa." I scrunched up my face as Kris flicked my forehead. "I’m not even mad. Just advising." I grunted as I rubbed the sore spot on my forehead. "It hurts." 

The door opened and an unfamiliar face appeared by the door. "The reporters and interviewers are here. Get ready guys." He said quickly and shut the door. Everyone seems to be pretty busy around here. 

Kris left first and left me and Kyungsoo alone. He checked his reflection through the mirror, fixing his hair and clothes. I went by his side and fixed his collar "You look fine. Don’t be nervous." I reassured. Kyungsoo let out a shaky sigh to let out the nervousness out of his chest. I chuckled and made him turn around to face me. 

I put my hands on both of his cheeks and leaned forward. "You, Do Kyungsoo, are the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my life. I’m not saying this just because you’re my boyfriend." I said softly. Kyungsoo finally let out a genuine smile and pecked my lips. "And you are the best girlfriend ever." He whispered, "Thanks." 

I stood properly and slightly pushed him towards the door. "Now go. You don’t want to be late for your first interview." He was about to open the door but stopped and turned around "Sit where I could see you, alright?" I chuckled and nodded. Satisfied with my reply, he went out of the door. 

"Can he see me?"  I wondered as I sat a few rows from the stage. It was really noisy from the fans’ squealing and fussing over EXO. The fans went crazier when a VCR was played through the big screen. It started by showing EXO planet that many fans were familiar of since it was mostly shown in the teasers for their début. 

By the seconds, familiar faces appeared as they show Jongin’s close up in the History MV, followed by Kyungsoo's and so on. And that was when I understood how Kyungsoo felt backstage. My heart was thumping so hard that I felt it would jump out any time. "Will they be alright?" "Are they okay?" "Nothing will happen, right?" All of these questions were running through my mind at the same time. 

The crowds screamed louder when the spotlights on stage shone towards the six boys with their back towards us and ‘’History’’ played in the background. The nervousness inside me seems to disappear when Jongin’s part started. Their first performance ended really well and I too, clapped enthusiastically with the other fans. "I was worried for nothing." I chuckled. 

After their introductions, another VCR was showed, showing their teasers. Even though the lights were dimmed, I could still see Jongin in white shirt and black vest standing in the corner of the stage. The lights brightened and shone towards him when the music started with a familiar gentle voice singing "She’s my baby" I admit, Jongin  is the most attractive when he’s dancing. The concentration and feeling he puts in the dance was incredible. 

I was smiling throughout his performance but the smile was swept off my face Jongin made eye contacts with me. It wasn’t the usual teasing eyes he gave me but more of desire. 

Please show a bit more of yourself to me. (Don’t lie)

A sweet harmony that was I never able to feel before. 

Don’t be too late. 

My hands that were clapping along to the music fell limply on my laps as I stared back into his orbs. "What is this? What is going on?" I wondered. His performance ended and our eyes contacts finally broke off when he turned around. 

I went straight to backstage right after the showcase ended. Filled with pride over these boys, I walked over to them with a big smile plastered on my face. "Mirae-yah." "Mirae-noona." Voices called out my name as I approached them. "How were we?" 

"Do you really need to ask me that? Didn’t you hear the crowd’s screaming?" 

 "But we need your opinion" Jongin sweetly said. I was touched by his words and hugged his arms since he’s just beside me. "Uhmm." I tapped my chin. "You guys were superb!" I held out two thumbs up. 

Families seem to be around and I left to give them some time. I looked as Kyungsoo talked to his mother. He would glance at me from time to time. I was at shock when he waved at me asking me to come to him. "What?" I mouthed towards him. I hesitantly walked towards them. I bowed a couple of time to his parents. 

"So this is the Mirae you had been talking about all these time, huh?’ His mother spoke up. Kyungsoo  smiled and pulled me by his side "This, is Jung Mirae, my girl." I tried to hide my smile when he said ‘my girl’ .I don’t know why but it has a nice ring to it. 

They bid goodbyes to their family except for the Chinese members since their families couldn’t come. "Let’s celebrate over this successful showcase. My treat." I smiled to Kyungsoo. He fidgeted with his hands as he said "I couldn’t. I have practice after this." I couldn’t help but let out a disappointed "Oh" 

"I’ll make it up to you next time, okay?" I hid up my disappointment with a smile. "Of course." I watched as Kyungsoo helped the injured Jongin going into the van.
