Chae’s POV

“Oppa!” I called to Seung Hyun as I ran to them.

“What’s happening??? Ji what did you do???” I asked as I saw Hyun Seung bleed.

I was about to approach Hyun Seung when Ji Yong grabbed my arm and stopped me.

“Let go Ji!” I told him.

“Chae he’s not worth it.” He whispered while looking at my eyes.

“Waeyo??” I asked raising a brow.

“He’s cheating on you… with Hyuna…..” he uttered as he clenched his jaw.

I can’t believe what I just heard.

‘Hyun Seung cheating on me??’

‘How can he???’

‘He loves me so much!’

‘I’m his best friend!’

‘His little sister!’

“Oppa is it tr--”

“I’m sorry Chae.” Hyun Seung cut me off.

“But why?” I asked as I tried not to cry.

“I’m getting tired of us.” He muttered.

I can’t respond.

I don’t know how to respond.

People looking at us...

Hearing everything he just said...

My reputation...

My pride…

My ego…

In front of Ji Yong…

I want to disappear.

I hope that the floor would just eat me.

I felt dizzy…

I want to faint.

People staring at me…

Pity in their eyes…

I looked around and saw them whispering with each other.

They’re talking about me.

I’m over. I’m so embarrassed.

I shook of Ji Yong’s grip and ran outside.

I didn’t care if there are paparazzi’s.

I don’t care if my heels broke.

I just want to run away.

Far.

Very far.

Away from this.

From everyone.

Ji Yong’s POV

I followed her.

We’re lucky the press didn’t follow us because our friends grabbed their attention.

I just followed her secretly.

She almost trip when her left heel broke but she didn’t bother to stop.

I just want to hug her and comfort her.

But I don’t know how to approach her.

I hate to see her like this.

She doesn’t deserve this.

“Good she’s tired.” I muttered under my breath.

She slumped down the pavement crying.

“Chae…” I approached her and sat behind her.

“Ji?” she looked at me with her misty eyes.

“Ne~~” she hugged me.

. I didn’t expect this.

She started crying again.

“Shhh… Don’t cry…” I hugged her and patted her back.

“Well… he’s not the perfect guy after all… he’s just another heart breaker…” I don’t know what words to say.

‘Ji! Pabo!’ I pouted.

“Like you…” she answered.

“Yeah… like me…” but you’re breaking my heart Chae.

“I’m sorry if you’re hurting like this.”

“You don’t deserve a guy like him.” I continued.

“Your tears don’t deserve him… please don’t waste it…” I hope my comfort words are enough.

She let go of our hug and stared at me.

“Smile now…” I pouted at her.

“Thanks oppa.” She smiled.

Her smile is different.

Her eyes are sparkling, it seems like she’s happy after what just happened.

“You’re so beautiful.” I told her as I caressed her face.

“Please always smile like this...” I added.

“I will if you’ll always be like this to me.” She answered as she rested her chin on her knees.

 “Like what?” I asked in confusion.

“Like this. The plain Kwon Ji Yong. Not the one.” She said while looking at my eyes.

“Sorry for being an .” I messed her hair.

“I missed you.” She said looking down.

I grabbed her shoulders and hugged her tightly.

I expect her to push me away but she didn’t.

We stayed like that for a while. Not caring if the passerby’s are staring at us.

‘Ji tell her!’

‘Don’t be a coward!’

“Chae I know I don’t deserve yo~~” She cut me off and said, “But I want you.”

I broke off our hug and looked at her.

“M-m-mworago???” I stuttered in disbelief.

“I said I want you.” She smiled.

I felt chills run down my spine.

I have this weird feeling on my stomach, like its tingling or someting.

But I like this feeling.

“I love you Chae Rin.” I confessed to her.

She cupped my face and kissed me.

As our lips touched my heart pounded wildly.

I can’t help myself to own her lips.

The sweet taste of her lips that I longed for.

She broke off as she ran out of breath.

I ran my thumb on her lips and saw her blushed.

“So since when did you fantasize my lips??” I joked.

“!” she blurted out as she punched my chest.

“I know.” I said as I pulled her closer to me and pecked her lips.
