Chapter 18

TOP’s POV

I am now in front of 2NE1’s pad. I don’t know how to face them, especially Bommie.

I know I did wrong I’m such a weak guy.

“Oh God why!!” I almost yelled as I punched the wall.

“S-s-seung Hyun.” Her voice almost cracking.

I turned to her and saw how hurt she is. It’s my fault. I don’t deserve her.

I approached her and caressed her face but she shove my hand away. Well, I can’t blame her.

“Mianhe Park B-bom.” I tried to act cool but failed when my voice cracked at her name.

“So it’s true.” She said as she looked away.

I saw her looked up trying to prevent her tears from falling.

“Mianh-e… Bommie, mianhe.” I was expecting her to slap me.

I waited for it.

A punch in my chest.

A slap in my face.

A kick on my groin.

I deserve it.

“S-seung Hyun-ah… W-w-waeyo???” she’s now crying.

I hugged her but she didn’t hug me back. She just stood there crying.

I kissed the top of her head making her feel that I am really sorry.

I don’t know how I’ll explain everything without hurting her.

“I-I wanna know… everything…” she bravely told me as she pushed me away and wiped her tears.

“Let’s go inside.” I told her.

“No.” she answered and walked away. I followed her outside and we end up at a nearby park. She sat down in one of the swings and I just stood in front of her.

Bom’s POV

I don’t want the girls to see me like this.

USlike this.

They always see us a happy couple but not today.

Well I guess not anymore.

My feet always lead me to this park again.  I can always think clear whenever I’m here maybe because it’s the wind that makes me calm. I sat again on my favorite swing and he just stood there in front of me.

“Why don’t you sit here beside me.” I told him calmly and he followed me.

It’s not that I don’t want him to see my face but I don’t want him to see how hurt I am.

“Tell me.” I uttered.

‘Brace yourself Bommie, you asked for this.’ I told myself.

“We’re not dating Bommie.” He started off.

I didn’t respond.

I want him to tell me everything, without me interrupting.

I don’t want to conclude anything without hearing his side.

‘I can’t afford to let him go.’

“But…. I did go to her apartment.” He continued.

“We’re just flirting with each other… That’s all, nothing serious.” He said with a flat tone.

“Is she the one calling you?” I asked.

“Neh.” He answered briefly.

“Is she the reason why you always leave early?”

“Most of the time…” he clasped his hands

“Do you…l-like her?” I stuttered as I felt a sharp pain in my heart.

I’m pretending to be brave. I’m pretending to be calm. I looked up again, trying to pretend again.

“I-I can’t say it’s like…  it’s more of a p-physical attraction… only.” He said looking down. I can’t almost hear him.

“So you f-ed her?” I wiped my tears.

He didn’t answer.

My man ing another woman.

“Y-y-you could have just flirted with her….” I said with a cracked voice.

“A-and ed me instead.” My hands are shaking as I told him that.

“Bommie you know I respect you.” He answered.

“Respect me???” I stood up and yelled at him.

“You could have just ed me than cheat on me Seung Hyun!!” I exclaimed.

“I can’t believe you. You’ve changed.” I told him as my tears gushed out of my eyes.

“Im sorry.” That’s all he can say.

“You know what? Let’s just end it here.” I said and walked away.

I can’t face him it’s too hard for me.

He chased me and grabbed my hand stopping me from walking.

“A-a-are you breaking up with me?” his stuttered words and cracked voice.

 He’s hurting also but what about me?

“I-I don’t know.” I answered.

“P-p-please give me another chance.” He pleads as he kneeled down crying.

I turned to him and saw him like that. It’s my first time to see him like that.

I can’t help myself but I wanted to forgive him.

“I’m so weak.” I uttered.

“I can’t… l-l-lose you….Park Bom.” His tears making me weaker and want to forgive him.

“Seung Hyun-ah, please stop.” I told him as I lowered down to him.

“I-I can’t lose you…” he hugged me and cried on my shoulders.

“You won’t…” I told him and hugged him back. I lose. I gave in.

‘Gosh! Bommie!!’

“Don’t ever do that again.” I told him as I cried.

“This will be the last one…” he whispered.

TOP’s POV

“Hyung why are you doing this?” Ji Yong greeted me with that question when I arrived.

I’m still feeling guilty. Especially to Bom whom gave me another chance.

“Yeah hyung! First the girl in Japan and now Min ah.” Daesung butted in.

“Why are you doing this to noona?” Seung Ri glaring at me.

“Do you even still love her?” Young Bae asked me as he clenched his fist.

“Of course I love her!” I exclaimed.

I was ready if ever they would beat me up.

I won’t fight back but Young Bae suddenly left. I swear he looks like he would attack me.

“Mianhe guys.” As I look at them one by one and I can see they’re why-did-you-do-it-look.

Bom’s POV

“You what???” Chae and Dara shrieked.

“How can you forgive him easily???” Chae blurted. She’s angry.

“I don’t want to have regrets of losing him.” I told them.

“But still! He just cheated on you!” Chae exclaimed.

“You’ll never understand me until it happens to you!” I exclaimed.

“Unnie…” with her sulky voice.

“Sorry Chae.” I left them and entered my room.

I lay down on my bed turning my back from the door.

‘Is my choice right?’

‘Is it the right thing?’

‘Forgive me girls for being weak.’

‘I can’t let him go.’

‘Not for her.’

Someone opened the door and lay down beside me.

I heard her crying as she hugged my back.

“U-u-unnie!!” Chae’s sobbing.

“I know that I’m in no position…” I cut her off by facing her.

“It’s okay, anyone would say that to me.” I rubbed her back.

“I just don’t want to see you hurt…” she whispered.

“Your such my baby girl…” I wiped her tears off.

“It’s just normal to be hurt especially when you’re committed. It’ll come to every relationship in some point and we can’t avoid it. It’s not always fun.” She buried her face to my shoulder.

“If it’s all fun and carefree then it’ll be fake.” I added while smiling at her.

“I’ll beat that Seung Hyun up if he cheats on you again.” She warned with a hint of joke.

“He’s dead meat.” We both laughed.

“Can I sleep here unnie?” she asked doing her aegyo cat eyes.

“Good night.” I whisperd as I hugged her.
