It was another school day and Jin Ae was feeling a bit more happy as she strode her way down to her locker. The scenes that happened last saturday flashed back into her mind and when a certain scene entered her mind, she couldn't help but giggle.

Boom

The loud thunder cracked again making Jin Ae clung to Kevin for dear life.

The 20 minutes before dinner felt like years with the thunderstorm around. Kevin held her closer and continued to run his finger in her hair reassuring her that everything is alright. He looked down at her and sighed.

"Jinnie."

Jin Ae responded with a hum making Kevin sighed. Another thunder boomed making Jin Ae shake in fear and Kevin got enough of it. He cupped Jin Ae's face and made his angel looked at him. He looked down at her whose eyes are still shut and is biting her lower lip. He ran his thumb below her lip making her stop herself from biting her lip. He smiled and looked into her closed eyes when a thunder cracked making her gasp in fear. Kevin called for her and when she didn't respond, he placed his forehead on hers, closing some of their personal space, nose touching.

"Angel." Kevin caressed her cheeks and sighed when she didn't respond again. He sighed rolling his eyes,

"What do I do with you. 20 minutes in hand and I...You...argh."

He chuckled trying to lighten the mood but seeing that it didn't work, he sighed again and called out for Jin Ae.

"Kim Jin Ae. Please open your eyes and look at me." he pleaded and when Jin Ae opened her eyes, a genuine smile appeared on his face.

However, this smile was wiped off when another loud thunder boomed making Jin Ae instantly close her eyes and Kevin roll his.

"Baby, just open your eyes and look at me."

Jin Ae warily followed and when she looked into Kevin's eyes, he smiled and reassured her.

"Just look into my eyes alright? Don't you dare close them my angel." he warned slightly glaring at her then smiled again.

He took a deep breath cupping Jin Ae's ears and pulled her closer to him.

"Look at me and only listen to my voice. Don't ever let the thunder scare you. Remember baby that I'm just here." he said softly to Jin Ae and she nodded holding Kevin's shirt tighter. When another thunder came, she tried to calm down and do what Kevin said making smile wider when she obeyed him. 

"Listen only to me." Kevin hussed her and when he felt another would kick in, he stared at Jin Ae and pecked her lips before his voice started to surround the whole room.

With Kevin's voice around, Jin Ae felt relaxed and with his eyes staring at hers, she able to ignore the thunder which cracked outside his room. Her face slowly lit up into a smile which Kevin responded by smiling back at her. And when he pulled her a bit more closer, he started to lean in. When he can feel his lips brushing against her, reality destroyed their little moment for the door flung opened, telling them the 20 minutes is already up.

Jin Ae smiled at the memory and she all giddy, happily striding her way towards her locker when she bumped into someone. She was about to protest only to be shut up when she saw the person she bumped into.

"S-Seoppie."

"You seemed so happy my Jinnie." he chuckled.

Jin Ae warily bit her lip and looked at him sheepishly. Her heart started to beat fast the moment Kiseop took a step closer and she couldn't help but gulped to herself. She knew all along that she need to tell Kiseop the thing about her and Kevin but she wasn't yet ready. She saw him tilting his head with a curious smile on his face.

"Well? Why don't you tell me the reason why are you so happy? Can't trust bestie Seoppie anymore?" he half-heartedly laughed making Jin Ae's heart crash.

She knew that she needs to tell him sooner or later and she even practiced lines just so she can tell him but all of the lines disappeared when the real Kiseop is standing right in front of her. She bit her lip and looked at him before taking a deep breath.

"You see...Seoppie-"

She got cut off when Kiseop pulled her close to him. He hugged her tightly, breathing in her scent as he run his fingers in her hair. Jin Ae warily hugged him back and when she called out for him, he softly hushed her shaking his head.

"Don't. Just don't."

She was facing his chest and couldn't get to look up to see his face for Kiseop held her so close to him. She decided to pat his back lightly making his body tensed then relax again. "Seoppie."

"I don't want to hear it right from you."

"Seoppie." Jin Ae blurted confused as she felt Kiseop nod.

"I know Jin. I already know." he quietly said making Jin Ae clouded with confusion.

"What?"

"Kevin and you. I already know." his voice started to crack but he tried to stay still and not break down. 

Jin Ae pulled a little away to see his face. Sad eyes and small smile was plastered on Lee Kiseop's usual emotionless face at school which made Jin Ae's stomach churn. "W-what about me and Kevin? H-How?"

Kiseop gave her a small smile as he pulled away from her, "The bastard walked right in front of me and bragged into my face that you and him are already.....together."

The last word was released quietly from his mouth but loud enough for Jin Ae to hear. Jin Ae felt something in , as she stood there motionless and lost in her mind only to be brought back by Kiseop's half-hearted laugh.

"You should know that I'm not happy with the news." Kiseop stated as Jin Ae looked at him.

"Seoppie."

"But I should be happy. You're happy with him right?" He asked as she warily nodded. He studied her face for a while before smiling. "If you're happy, then I'm happy."

"Seoppie." she blurted as he genuinely smiled at her tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Kiseop loves you. He goddamn loves you. How the hell can't you see that yourself?!

"You really love me." she blurted shaking her head. Kiseop stared at her before snickering.

"I do. Isn't that obvious?" he rolled his eyes and stared at Jin Ae who's staring blankly at him, "I love you so much Jinnie."

Jin Ae felt a pang at her chest as she shook her head. She looked at Kiseop, half heartedly laughing while shaking her head again.

"No. You can't love me. I don't deserve your love-"

"Jin." Kiseop's stern voice made her look into his eyes. Kiseop's eyes started to soften as he caressed Jin Ae's cheek with the back of his hand.

"I love you."

"But I don't deserve your love and attention! I.."Jin Ae's voice trailed off as Kiseop continued caressing her cheek.

"You don't tell me who I must love and who I can't Jinnie. It is my decision to love you, not yours. And if you can't return back whatever I feel for you, it is still my choice to continue loving you even if I don't get anything in return. I love you Jin. No one can change that fact even you. I will continue to love you, be happy for you and that bastard for what makes you happy make me happy." he softly responded making Jin Ae reached the tip of breaking down.
