 Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal. The snows of winter melt away, flowers bloom and all the world seems anew.

Jin Ae sighed as she closed the book, "Rebirth and renewal huh?"

The bell rung signalling that her third subject had ended and she decided to read a few lines from her literature book as she walked towards her locker. It was the last day of school and in a few more hours, spring break is finally round the town. Excited murmurs filled the hallway as students talked about their plans with one another as they are walking towards their next class or towards their lockers.

Jin Ae sighed again as she opened the door of her locker while lost in thoughts. She placed her things back inside it and grabbed the books she'll need for the next subjects lazily. Somehow, the previous events that happened were giving her a huge shock. Kevin kissing her, her getting drunk, Jinkyung and Kevin together. All of these were still stuck inside her head and she couldn't help but wonder what happened with the playboy during the week she had been missing in school.

"It's just a week and he forgot everything already?" she thought out loud as she closed the door of her locker. She leaned back to it, hugging her books close to her chest.

"But, then again, we don't have anything in the first place. So why bother thinking about him and barbie Jin?"

She was still lost in her own world when AJ appeared in front of her, making her pull her books closer to her chest.

"JINNIE~"

"YAH! How many times do I have to tell you not to suddenly appear out of nowhere like a mushroom?!" Jin Ae slapped AJ's arm making him hiss in pain.

"Ow, you don't have to do that!" he snickered as Soohyun and Eli appeared behind him.

"Hi Jin Jin." Soohyun greeted as Eli waved and Jin Ae gave them a smile.

"What's up?" she stated as the three smiled at her.

"Well, what are you going to do on spring break Jin Jin?" AJ asked as Jin Ae tapped her chin.

Now that someone asked her about it, she doesn't have any plans yet and when she was about to answer, she saw Kevin and Jinkyung making their way towards them. 

"Uhm.." she blurted as the three waited for her answer and she saw Jinkyung whisper something to Kevin making her stomach churn.

"Uhm?" Eli raised an eyebrow, "What Jin Jin? Do you have any plans? Come on tell us."

"Yeah, tell us Jin Ae." Jinkyung suddenly joined the conversation making the three guys startled.

"Oh. You're here." AJ blurted, disappointment evident in his voice. 

Kevin looked at Jin Ae and tilted his head, "So, do you have any plans?"

Jin Ae gulped, feeling something in as Kevin talked to her. It's the first time after her week long absence and somehow she couldn't help but feel nervous. The group looked at her as she took a deep breath.

"Why do you guys wanna know?"

Soohyun grinned at her, "Well, we wanted to know so that we could --"

"invite you to come with us." Jinkyung finished Soohyun's sentence, smirking at Jin Ae.

Jin Ae tilted her head as she studied barbie's expression and cursed inside her head. Kevin watched her movements, his eyes unreadable, waiting for her response, "So Jin, would you come with us?"

Jin Ae stared at him blankly. Somehow, Jin Ae told herself that she wanted to come but something seemed to be holding her back. She was about to respond when the bell rung. She took this as a cue to leave the group, "I think about it. Catch you guys later."

She gave them a smile then quickly walked away. She felt herself walked faster than normal and she was surprised that she never looked back even though AJ shouted back, telling her 'see ya later'. The thought of Kevin came across her mind. She couldn't help but wonder what happened to him and how he seemed to be a totally new person which made her sighed.

"Spring is a time for rebirth and renewal. It seems like the playboy is in trend with the season."

As Jin Ae walked into her next class, she quickly sat on her usual seat beside the window and stared blankly on it. Dongho walked in with a smile as soon as he saw his friend, "You're a bit early than usual."

Jin Ae was lost in thoughts that she didn't hear Dongho's statement making the latter look at her with concerned eyes. Dongho warily sat beside her, staring at her, waiting for her to notice him. A few minutes passed by and students started to fill the room but Jin Ae is still focused on the window making Dongho bit his lip in worry.

He strummed his fingers on his desk and when he couldn't take it anymore, he fished out his phone and started typing.

Kiseop already inside their classroom waiting for the professor when he felt something vibrate in his pocket. He grabbed his phone and opened the message who was sent by Dongho. He stared at the phone screen for a while making him bit his lower lip. 

/ Seoppie hyung, Jinnie seems to be so down. I wonder what's bothering her? /

He warily thought about what his dongsaeng texted him and his thoughts were suddenly interrupted when the bell rung and their professor entered the room.

Dismissal came, the bells ringing was like a sweet melody for the students. Jin Ae was walking towards the school doors watching the students gleefully walking out of the school. She smiled to herself but it disappeared when she saw five familiar figures standing by the door, as if waiting for someone. As soon as she reached them, they gave her a smile which she returned.

"Hey." she greeted as the others wave.
