"Please be okay." Suho's desperate pleas clung to the silent air while he tried to fight back his tears. It had only been eighteen days since he had left the others yet so much had happened since then. They had encountered Anonymous twice and had barely escaped with their lives both times. They had also encountered Tao a handful of times but once they had gotten close enough, the younger had noticed and with his power aiding him, escaped at the last second. Now the duo were facing a new challenge; one that neither knew how to solve. Xiumin was terribly sick, with a fever that practically burned Suho's hand when he touched the older's forehead. His body temperature was easily over 105 yet Suho couldn't understand how the older was still... alive. Normally humans couldn't withstand temperatures over 102 so that fact in itself rattled the redhead. He had looked up symptoms and concluded that the boy had some type of hyperthermia and scared himself into thinking the older would die but Xiumin had refused to be taken away to the hospital. "You'll leave me there cause it's safe." He argued with the redhead, and he knew he had lost since the older was indeed right. So here Suho sat, praying silently to himself and the four Gods that Xiumin would become healthy and be safe because even though he had recently met the boy, he seemed so entirely precious to him and he wasn't about to let him go.      "I'll start from the beginning." Minho had started once everything had settled down. His own squad members mixed in with the paladins and the remaining few remaining boys from the twelve plus the two companies of Luhan and Amber. "I was once an Exotic, as well as my squad, long ago. I was a translator, since I loved to study new and interesting languages and in my occupation, I had met someone. We shared a lot of common interests and we had quickly gotten close." Minho gained a far-away look in his eyes as he sadly smiled to himself, remembering, then continued. "Either way, we had fallen in love and we chose each other as our mates but that's where everything had went horribly wrong. It was against Exotic law to mate outside of Exotic race and they..." Minho paused, taking a deep breath to calm his aching heart. "The Gods struck him down before me, so I would never make the mistake of breaking the law again. From then on, I left EXOplanet and turned to Anonymous for guidance."  Minho ran a hand through his hair. "Now, for why this is relevant. My mate, Nichkhun of JYP planet lived on bottom section of the planet, a place where in Earth time was always 2 pm. Such a hot, unbearable part of the planet... anyway, his main goal was to change for his side of the planet so along with me, we searched for time wizards."     Luhan quickly had caught on. "Ah, I see, Tao!" Minho nodded and placed his finger to his lips. "Somehow, Nichkhun must have comeback and targeted Tao. See, his power is of illusion. Seeing that Kris is Tao's mate and how strong Kris was, he decided to capture him first. Unfortunately bringing Chanyeol with him." Onew clutched his fists slightly at the thought of his friend being captured but said nothing. "Illum is his strongest ability. It turns the victims eyes completely black, taking away any chance of sight they have and replacing it with visions the caster wants them to see; but if they are indirectly effected, it causes the victims worst fears to come true." All people in the room looked at each other in concern. "So it's contagious?" D.O asked and Minho shook his head in reply. "Not necessarily. It only effects the people that one victim is bonded to. Kris must be infected with Illum, thus Tao was infected. Same with Baekhyun and Chanyeol." The others nodded but Chen stood up, displeased. "Then why is Yixing effected?" All eyes went to Minho now. "Since Chanyeol is Kris's spirit bond partner, Lay was either Baekhyun or Tao's spirit bond partner."  Siwon had now stepped forward. "He is Baekhyun's partner." All eyes shot curiously to Siwon now. Chen concluded. "Wait, if the order is like that, then what about Suho? Isn't his power water? Is his mate also his spirit bond?" D.O asked thoughtfully.
