I woke up to Tao's dark eyes silently watching me. Surprisingly, I didn't find it awkward. He just lie there, the opposite of me, watching me. I lie there too, taking in his soft features while the specks of sunlight danced on his light skin. Once you got past the black hair, dark eyes and intense glare he had, he was actually pretty beautiful, for a guy I mean. His lips opening and closing slightly, singing soundless rhythms along with the audible ticking from the clock that hung above my bed.     The beating against my chest soon matched the steady pace of the clock. Tao shifted slightly and moved his hand towards my face. His fingertips danced random patterns against my skin, giving me goosebumps all over my body.
