What Is Love To A Machine?
Tao’s been acting a bit weird for the past few days… and if that wasn’t distracting me, I had a whole other problem.
“Hyung.” Here we go again. “Yes?” I put down my book for the millionth time this morning to look at the newest addition to our little group. “How did you get to learn so many different languages?” That had to be like the hundredth question he asked since Baekhyun had left to go shopping with Tao. “It takes many years and a lot of patience.” I toss my book onto the table, forgetting it since I wasn’t going to be able to read it with Chanyeol around.
“You and Tao are pretty close, why hasn’t he printed on you?” His head tilted and his curly hair bounced slightly. “That’s what I’d like to know.” I pinched the bridge of my nose then rubbed my eyes in frustration. “Do you love him?” I believe I do. “Yes.” I rest my head in my hand and slouch back into the couch. “Does he love you?” We’ve never had the conversation before but I sure he does… does he? “I-I’m not completely sure.” Before Chanyeol could say anything else, his phone beeped and he quickly stood up. “I’m sorry Kris hyung, Baekhyun needs me.” He grabbed his bag off the side of the couch and quickly ran to put on his shoes. “He also said Tao should be here any minute.” And with that he was out of the house.

I was scared to tell you at first but now I think I’m ready.” I raised an eyebrow. Scared to tell me? He’s usually so open with everything. “What is it?” He sits between my legs and wraps his arms around my neck while I wrap mine around his waist. He looks into my eyes and smiles shyly. “Well Gege, I’m with child.” What?! I honestly wasn’t sure if he was being serious or not, but when he pulled out a small pink onesie with a panda on it with a matching panda hat, I knew he was serious. I felt my mouth go dry as he pulled out pink baby booties and put them into my hand.
“Tao, what do you mean we’re having a baby? Did you adopt a baby?!” I asked handing him back the small plush shoes. “Adopt? Oh no, it’s in my tummy silly. I’m going to be a mommy and you’re going to be a daddy.” He kissed me on the cheek a
