How did things become like this? Everything was perfect...     I had my forehead pressed against the cold window, my back facing a silent Tao. He didn't know what to say, and I couldn't blame him. I had acted out of character last night.     I placed my hands on Ri Rin's shoulders and pushed her gently away from me. She looked up at me with confusion in her eyes, and from the corner of my eye, so did Tao. "Y-Yi Fan, what's the matter? Don't you love me anymore? I thought you'd wait for me?" My eyes widened in surprise. "That was over three years ago Ri Rin. What did you expect to come back to?" I stepped back from her and ran a hand through my hair, frustrated. "You told me you loved me Yi Fan." Tears gathered in her eyes and I shook my head, not wanting to fall for her fake tears. It's something she used to always do to get her way. "You said the same thing and what did I get in return? You changed your number and I didn't receive a single ing phone call." I slammed my hand against the wall. "Yi Fan!" Tears squeezed out her eyes but I didn't give way. "Get out. I never want to see your face again." A sharp slap rang through the air and my cheek quickly stung hotly. "I hate you." She moved forward and started pounding angrily at my chest. "You said you loved me and that you'd wait no matter what! I hate you, Yi Fan! I ha-" I grabbed both of her wrists and squeezed. More tears ran down her cheeks but I refused to let go, until Tao's hand gripped my wrist. "Gege." I let go and hung my head, ashamed that it had come to this. "Just leave." She didn't argue as she quickly left the house, leaving Tao and I to soak up the awkward and tense air that was left behind.     I looked over at Tao who was staring off into space, his eyes intense and he seemed to be deep in thought.
