Donghae POV
I immediately panicked. My mind thought of worst case scenarios. What if she was kidnapped by some of the ELFs without me noticing?
I tried to tell myself that I wasn't at fault, that I was just distracted by the chaotic ELFs, a valid reason why I forgot about her momentarily.
But I'm still stupid.
Groaning in frustration, I started walking around the place, my eyes searching for the petite noona I was just with a while ago.
The fact that she's tiny made it hard for me to find her immediately.
I discovered a note posted on a random wall, which listed the recommended courses in Everland Resort. Recommended courses..
Not knowing where to go first, I decided to just go to the places listed, thinking that Dara noona might also be in one of those places. I hope.
I planned to check out the T-Express first, because for some reason, I felt that she would be there. And she really was.
Doing something I never thought she'd do.
Dara POV
I left Donghae at the mercy of the rabid fans, relieved that they didn't notice the girl their oppa was with.
I don't want to take any chances with fans.
Especially because of the slushie incident. I cringed at the memory as I strolled around the resort. I slapped myself slightly, trying to forget.
The sky became slightly darker indicating that it was really going to rain. That's just great. I sighed in disappointment.
I immediately thought about the rides I really wanted to try, and thought about the T-Express.
Yep.
A small thing like me liked those kinds of rides.
So I went there, absentmindedly and excitedly. Until I remembered that I had no companion.
I stood in front of the rollercoaster like a lost child, until something caught my eye.
A group of people, girls and boys near the T-Express suddenly went into some kind of formation and they seemingly waited for something.
Then a guy from their group had this boombox with him. Boomboxes still exist? I laughed silently to myself for being stupid.
The guy pressed play.
From that moment on, I was confused. He had a boombox, and he was with a group of people in formation. Kpop music blared.
People started dancing.
Oh.
Flash mob.
The girls in the group danced to the chorus of Wonder Girls' Be My Baby, while the guys were standing still, until the chorus of Oppa, Oppa began.
Now it was the girls turn to stop as the guys danced to the song. I chuckled out loud, moving closer, watching them with interest.
People also stopped to look at them.
I didn't notice that I was kind of dancing, sort of, to the song. And because of my luck, someone noticed me.
A guy from the mob pulled me towards the group and squinted his eyes at me, trying to figure out if I was real.
"Dara, Dara of 2NE1?" He shouted over the music.
By then the people dancing close to us got curious. Oh no. I am so dead. What if they trample all over me when they find out?
What if they're haters?
I had no means of escape so I nodded to him timidly. He grinned widely. That's when I noticed that he was cute.
Oh dear God Dara in a situation like this you can still think of mundane things? I shook my head to clear my thoughts.
The cutie in front of me chuckled. "I'm a Blackjack, noona." He declared. And my heart practically exploded. Noona. He called me noona.
By now I feel ashamed because I have a weakness when it comes to younger guys. "Ah, um. Is that so? Thank you."
"Would you like to dance with the group? I Am the Best is next." He asked, aegyo mode on. The others also looked at me expectantly.
"Guys, Dara is here!" Someone shouted, and a series of disbelieving reactions ensued. "So...how about it noona? There's no turning back."
He gestured towards the group who stopped dancing and was smiling widely at me. I scratched the back of my head bashfully. "Fine."
He grinned again and then motioned to someone to play the next song. It was really our song. They started dancing again but I didn't.
I felt weirded out. "Noona. Don't tell me you're shy about dancing in public. You're an idol, remember?" He laughed. I pouted.
"I'm not shy! Anyway, what's your name?" I asked him. "I'll tell you once you dance with us." He bargained.
I rolled my eyes and started doing the steps beside him. More and more people watched, some of them pointing at me.
I wished I could die in that spot. When it was my part of the song, they stopped dancing and watched me. M
