As Jihoon heard the commotion at another table, he couldn't help but look. He saw that it was the new group of guys DaIn and Yoojung were hanging around with.

'What was DaIn thinking, hanging around those people? ' he thought with a mocking laugh.

"Ugh, seriously, what are those?" GoEun commented.

"She must be out of her mind, thinking that she could make me jealous by hanging out with a bunch of losers" Jihoon added.

GoEun pursed her lips in thought. She knew she was the one who began with it, though she still wasn't sure why DaIn ate lunch with them the other day. She refused to tell Jihoon what she did either, afraid that he might get mad for interfering with something he didn't ask for.

"I don't think she's trying to make you jealous" Donghan said.

"What?" Jihoon stared at Donghan with a look of disbelief.

"I mean, if she was trying to make you jealous, why didn't she go for someone you're close with or with someone that atleast looked decent enough to be liked" Donghan continued.

"He has a point. So why exactly was DaIn hanging out with them?" Samuel spelled out Jihoon's thought for him.

"Why are we even concerened over that? Ugh" GoEun complained.

"You're welcome to leave the table anytime. You know the reason why you're here and it won't be a problem to replace you" Jihoon told GoEun.

GoEun just huffed in anger, stabbing her food with her fork. Her plan was to make DaIn stay away from them but she didn't consider how Jihoon would react. She didn't know how to. Jihoon was too difficult to read. He didn't have to leave DaIn all those years, so why is he there with them, with her, if he was going to be concerned over what DaIn was doing?

Jihoon shook his head as he sighed. He was Park Jihoon. Their school's treasured prince, the guy who could have anything and anyone he wanted anytime. Whatever DaIn was doing, he doesn't know why. He just has to wait and see first.

After an hour of shopping around the mall, the group have pretty much bought all the needed materials for the surprise. The only thing they have left to buy now are flowers. Some for the corsage, and some to make a bouquet out of, to give to DaIn. 

"Don't you think we're buying the flowers too early?" Woojin asked.

"What do you mean too early? The flower shop doesn't open early in the mornings. Do you plan to go out during lunch tomorrow instead?" Yoojung asked.

"Tomorrow?!" Woojin exclaimed.

"Why are you so shocked?" Yoojung asked non-chalantly.

"We only started planning for it during lunch earlier! We still need to work with the props, ask people to help us, and my dance! I still need to practice!" He defended.

"Dude, you've joined free style dance competitions throughout your entire life. What do you mean you need practice?" Youngmin rebutted.

"And hyung, when do you even plan you plan to ask her? There's only two weeks left before winter break. After that, you guys have to start working for your graduation requirements. Then before you know it, it's already prom" Daehwi interjected.

"Why do you guys keep nagging me? Am I not allowed to feel surprised?" Woojin complained.

They all stopped walking and looked at Woojin incredulously.

"Okay! Fine! You guys win" he sighed in defeat for the nth time that day.

"Do you really want to do this? The way I see it, you're hesitating" Donghyun commented.

Woojin covered his ears in exasperation, wailing out loud.

(A/n: idk how to describe the noise Woojin makes. If you know the video, it's just the sound he made during Energetic MV shoot when a bug landed on him while Jihoon was being interviewed and he was making so much noise lmao. If you guys want to watch the video I'm referring to, you can search up the words woojin and bug on yt. Omg this note is too long so back to the story)

"I get it guys, please stop nagging" he whined.

"So where to?" he asked, while scratching his head.

"I know someone who's very experienced with flowers and we're going to pay a visit" Yoojung said.

'Yoojung and DaIn sure do know lots of people' Woojin thought.

As they kept walking, they passed by the shop where DaIn bought Woojin contacts the previous day. Woojin suddenly noticed that the surroundings were becoming more familiar and he started feeling the dread.

Finally, they stopped infront of a shop and the fear Woojin felt has settled in.

Woojin was standing outside the same café from the previous day and he didn't want to go inside. The guys he met scared him out of his wits and he didn't want to experience that again.

He thought back on what Jinyoung whispered to him.
