As agreed during break time, we were to meet during lunch again. My classmates still haven't gone over from Woojin asking me to prom. One of my classmates, Sohyun, came up to me and even greeted me. 

"Congratulations!" She said, though discreetly making fun of me. I in a breath before giving a smile. There's no point in picking a fight. I need to appeal my self as much as I can to make sure they vote for me on prom.

I packed up my things and put it in my room locker before leaving the classroom for the canteen.

As I walked along the corridors, I couldn't help but think back on my conversation with Woojin earlier.

"Wow I can't believe I'm finally attending prom with a date. And even more with you!" He said with so much excitement.

"Hey, don't get too excited or you might hit your self and get hurt" I laughed.

"I just-- I'm happy" he smiled gently.

"You know what?" I asked him.

"What?" He asked back.

"We need a game plan" I replied.

He gave me a questioning look. Okay, here goes phase II: Get Woojin a Make-Over.

"Well, since it's our last prom before we graduate, why not make it the best?" I proposed.

"Uhm… isn't that everybody's plan….?" He said.

"I know that! I mean, us" I said, emphasizing the word us.

He coughed awkwardly "U-us…?".

"What? Do you think I'll allow me and my date to attend prom subtly? We need to go with a bang" I said with a challenging smirk.

"Okay, so what plan then?" He shrugged.

I bit my lower lip in thought "No offense but you are in need of a make-over"

Suddenly, he was deep in thought again.

"Woojin?" I called out to get his attention.

It seemed to work when he snapped out of his bubble. "H-huh? Oh yeah, uhm-- we'll see, I guess" he chuckled nervously.

"Oh, would you look at the time! Let me take you to your class, before you're late" he continued.

I nodded along instead of saying anything else. Later, I'm going to try again.

Why does he always look so reluctant with changing his looks?

I breathed out before I saw someone familiar coming towards my direction, missing a certain someone from him.

Remember Yoojung's words, act like you don't care.

Just as I was about to pass by him, he spoke, something he hasn't done much after we fell apart.

"So, Park Woojin huh?" He said.

I turned towards him and saw the serious glint in his gaze.

This is amazing. Park Jihoon just approached me first and asked something about me. The plan really was working!

I crossed my arms with a blank look on my face. "That is my prom date's name. And your's is GoEun, who surprisingly appears to be absent from your side"

He smirked at me. "I did pick GoEun. She is my date, but you, Woojin?"

"I don't know if you have short term memory, but we both just said that. Why? What are you going to do about it?" I tilted my head.

He came nearer, until we were both face to face.

My breath hitched in surprise. And I probably didn't remember to mask my emotions as he smirked at my reaction before it morphed back into his stony expression.

"Let's see about that" he gritted his teeth before walking away.

I released the breath that I didn't realize I was holding before composing my self. I held my hand against my chest and felt my heartbeat. Weird, it was beating at a regular rate. As often as I would drift off into my thoughts, I would start to get these weird feelings as well. 

I tapped my cheeks to stop my self from thinking of it too much and decided to just proceed to lunch instead.
