Today is the first day of school. Actual School. Classes and stuff.

I grab all my things and make sure to get Nicole's approval with my outfit before we leave for assembly. 

Assembly was boring. They just made announcements, welcomed the new students, and talked about being a proud member of our community. Boring, basic things that every school does in the first assembly.

I couldn't help but to feel extremely nervous as I walked to my first class. alone. I wonder where Chansung is... better yet, where is Taecyeon? I guess today will be my day to try to get to know as many people as possible, without the help of Chansung of Taecyeon. Come on, Tiffany, you can do this! Just be a little bit more outgoing, even if it is just for today!

As each class passed, I felt so left out. Everyone seemed to know each other already and were all too busy talking amongst themselves to want to get to know the new kid... me. The day went on, and my wish for any of my friends to be in my classes grew stronger and stronger.

Finally, last period. I walked into my history class with high hopes. I spot NichKhun. Yes. So I do have a friend in this class. He motioned for me to sit next to him, and I did.

"How has your day been going?" He inquired

"Miserable. No one bothered to even talk to me." I said motioning a tear down my cheek.

"Don't worry. I heard that our history class is filled with new kids. And even if it isn't, we've got each other, right?"

"Right." But... I have five other classes where I don't know anyone.

Class went by pretty quickly as we just introduced ourselves and talked about course objectives.

I dragged myself back to my room at the end of the day, wanting to hide myself. It's not like anyone would notice anyways.

Bzzzt. Bzzzzt. BBZZZZZT.

Taecyeon? eerr.. I mean Chansung? 

I grabbed my phone off of my desk. It was Taecyeon: "How was your first day?"

"ehhh...." I sent back.

As soon as I set my phone back down it buzzed again.

"Don't worry about it, you'll make friends and get used to the stress."

I smiled. but I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. I grabbed my laptop and started checking facebook. I had exactly eight friend requests: Chansung, Taecyeon, Junsu, Nichkhun, WooYoung, Jay, Jessica and Nicole.

After accepting all of them, I opened my school e-mail and checked who was online. I saw Chansung online. and I saw Taecyeon online. I decided to chat Taecyeon. I didn't want Chansung to think of me as just a friend so I couldn't spill everything about my life to him.

Tiffany:       aarrrrgggghhhhh

Taecyeon: are you okay?
                    slash how long will this take? I have so much work to do...

Tiffany:       have you ever felt totally out of place?

Taecyeon: yeah. Don't forget I was a new sophomore too.

Tiffany:       Does it get better?

Taecyeon: Only if you put in that effort.

Tiffany:       :(

Taecyeon:  I have a lot of work...

Tiffany:        Taec, I have no friends. 친구 없어....

Taecyeon: Don't say that. You have me. I have a lot of work, but you can always text me.
                    Also, don't tell anyone I told you that. 
                    I have a reputation to keep.

Tiffany:       Thanks... 

Taecyeon: np
                    Can I get back to my work now?

Tiffany:       Yeah.. I'll talk to you later.

I guess he's not so bad of a person. He's still a massive jerk, don't get me wrong. But I feel like deep down inside, he's a very caring person.

ugghhh. I guess now I'll have to go prepare for another day of loneliness.
