Jinri's POV

Dinner has never been so awkward until today. No one talked. Soojung ignored when Sehun oppa talked to her; my parents had solemn expressions worn, especially my dad. As usual, Joohyun eonni treated me like air. 

"Jongin, can you bring Sera to the playground?" 

Everyone lifted their heads upon hearing my father's words. Sera hugged her tiny arms around me and whined as she didn't want to leave my side. Even though Jongin assured that he will take good care of my daughter, I couldn't rest my mind in peace to leave Sera in Jongin's hands. 

"Bring her out," My father demanded. 

I let Jongin carried Sera away reluctantly. Once the door shut and the two of them were out of our sights, my father slammed his chopsticks on the dining table.

"Sehun, I can't believe you are the one who got my second daughter pregnant while dating my first daughter. Care to explain?" 

Sehun had always uphold a good image in my dad's heart but now, it has diminished. 

"Dad," I beat Sehun into it, "We were both drunk. We didn't mean to commit that sin."

"I didn't ask you," my father shouted at me, "How could you betrayed your own sister? Aren't you shameful of your own acts? Even if you are drunk, you shouldn't sleep with your sister's boyfriend!"

"Dad, I am sorry," Sehun oppa interrupted, "I got Jinri pregnant and I told her I can't take responsibility because I only have Joohyun in my heart. I can't lose Joohyun. I am truly sorry."

I saw Joohyun eonni giving Sehun oppa a squeeze on his hand and my heart clenched. They are so knitted and they have so much trust and love in each other and I can't simply just ruined it, no matter how much of a complete family I wish I could give to Sera. 

"I am so disappointed in you Sehun, but I am more upset with you Jinri," Dad let out an exasperation with his head shaking subtly; even my mum couldn't hide her dismay towards us. 

Feeling more than guilty to cause such chaos in the household, I lowered my head, hiding my teary eyes at the same time. 

"What do you guys plan to do now?" My dad questioned but no one spoke a single word, as if afraid that the wrong words could cause the ticking tomb to explode. 

"Jinri is now staying in Sehun's apartment. Sehun should take up his responsibility and play the role as the father," Joohyun eonni remarked, "Other than that, Sehun will not be giving more than he should."

I caught Joohyun eonni's death glare at me and I cowered and turned my gaze away from her. 

"So the two of you are still going to get married? Then what about after your marriage? Is Sehun going to stop playing his role as the father?" This time it was Soojung who voiced her opinions. 

Joohyun eonni frowned, "Then what other better solutions you have right now?" She challenged. 

"Sehun oppa and Jinri eonni should get married and raise Sera together."

"What?" I rose my head immediately and widened my eyes in utter shock at Soojung's absurd suggestion, "No way!"

"Are you asking me to give up Sehun? Isn't that very selfish of you? Sehun is mine, Jinri is the third party!"

"Eonni, things happened for a reason. I am sure it would be better for Sera if she has a complete family."

My head hurt. My hands trembled. This whole thing is a mess and I just want to run away from it.

"Stop fighting!" My father bellowed and everyone at the table finally kept quiet, "Sehun, be a man and tell dad how are you going to settle this?"

Everyone looked at Sehun, who had distress and hesitant written all over his face. He was stuck in between me, who is the mother of his kid; my sister, who is the love of his life; and my father, who is expecting a satisfying answer from his favourite future son-in-law. Sehun oppa and my sister fixated their eyes on each other for a long time, as if conveying his apology and their love through the exchange. I bit my lips and stood up, causing everyone to switch their orbs on me.

"Dad, for once, let me have a say. I have always been the insignificant and neglected child, be it at home or in school. So please, follow my wishes this time round. I am planning to leave Korea with Sera when I earn enough and I am not intending to come back anymore. No matter what is Sehun oppa's decision, someone is going to get hurt, so please don't force him to make a decision. Let him and Joohyun eonni stay together. They love each other."

"Eonni!" Soojung grumbled as she smacked her forehead, as if questioning my decision mentally. 

"I-"

"I will marry Jinri."

My heart paused for a moment. What did Sehun oppa just say?

"Sehun..." Joohyun eonni's tears were threatening to fall as she called for her love with a voice laced with hurt and pain. Sehun oppa wiped her tears with his thumb and gave her a smile while Joohyun continued to shake her head in denial. I could see how tough it was for Sehun oppa to come to this decision as his eyes were glistening.
