Jinri's POV

I didn't expect to bump into them. I didn't want to see any of them. My life has been well without any intruders, just me and my 3 year-old daughter, Sera. Now my whereabouts have been exposed to my younger sister, there is no way I can run away, again. 

"Mum,dad, can't you guys let Jinri eonni come home?"

I stood opposite my parents awkwardly, not wanting to make eye contact with my mum and dad, who seemed to be still upset with my incident. Sera, who was afraid of strangers, hugged my leg tightly and hid behind me. Mum glared at me, then shifted her cold gaze to my daughter, frightening her again. 

The door opened loudly and two parties entered the living room. It was my Joohyun eonni and the man whom I can never stop thinking about, Sehun oppa. He saw me but we avoided looking at each other as usual. His face stiffed a little when he saw the little girl behind my legs. Sera is a carbon copy of Sehun oppa and it isn't hard for people to see the resemblance and make assumption that they are related. 

"Are you raising the kid alone?" My dad questioned, causing the tension in the room to thicken. 

I nodded. 

"Up till now you still don't want to tell us the father your child?" He asked again, but with a stern voice this time. 

"I said before I can't remember who is it. I am living well with my daughter, you don't have to worry."

"Liar," Soojung rebutted, with a painful expression, "Eonni, look at how skinny you have gotten! I am worried for you eonni. Come back home."

"Soojung, I am fine. I have to get back to work."

"Eonni."

"Jinri."

Both of my sisters called for me. It sounded tempting to go back home but it's better to keep things to status quo. I will only ruin Sehun oppa's peaceful life if they found out that Sera is his kid. 

"I will take my leave."

"I have car! I can give you a lift."

My heart raced upon hearing his voice for the first time in three years. If there is any change in Sehun oppa, it would be his looks - he got more handsome with a pinch of masculinity. I gave a subtle nod; I couldn't say no. Why am I always weak under his feet?

Sehun's POV

Jinri changed, drastically. She got skinnier and the eye bags and dark eye circles clearly showed that she is lacked of sleep. I looked through the mirror to see her daughter lying on her lap at the backseat. I have to admit, I see resemblance in that little girl and it made even more guilty of my doings.

"How have you been?" I asked.

She looked up and made eye contact with me through the rear mirror, "I am fine...You? I saw on your social media account that you proposed to Joohyun eonni and you two are currently engaged. Congrats."

I was surprised that she still followed me despite the fact that we didn't end off nicely three years ago. 

"Uh yeah, thanks," I said sheepishly. I have no idea why but there is discomfort churning in my stomach when I touched on that topic with Jinri. Was it guilt? 

"What is her name?" I questioned, changing the topic quickly.

Jinri smiled when she caressed her daughter's cheeks and looked at the sleeping child like she is the most precious gem in the world, "Sera. Bae Sera. She is my little angel."
