Kyungsoo is super drunk. He walks by the streets, and every step he makes is unbalanced. Sometimes he talks nonsense, singing and laughing. Some scars are scratched onto his face. It’s the very first time he’s drunk before. Unnoticed, Chanyeol is behind him, following him all the way.

It was Chanyeol who stopped the fight. He quickly carried Kyungsoo out of the club. Kyungsoo, of course, didn’t recognise him while being drunk and even slapped him. Then he apologized and laughed, and Chanyeol just let out a sigh. Inside, he felt truly sorry for Kyungsoo.

And now here he is, following Kyungsoo like a lost puppy, staring and protecting every step he makes. Kyungsoo still hasn’t realised it’s him. It’s like Kyungsoo’s in another world. Then, finally, he looks back and sees Chanyeol.

"Who… are… you...?" Kyungsoo can’t even talk properly.

Chanyeol just stays silent. He knows it’s worthless to talk to Kyungsoo.

"Why… are you… following me? You… you want to kill me? Are… you a serial killer? Go ahead… I won’t mind." He chuckles crazily. "I have… nobody else… anymore… Even if I die… nobody will remember me… No one loves me anymore."

Kyungsoo starts crying.

"Before… I die… I wanna tell you a secret. Actually… I’m a girl"

He starts chuckling again.

"I didn’t expect I would be so beautiful as a girl… until a stupid boy fell for me." Kyungsoo can’t seem to hold his laughter. "Then… You know what? He said he… loved me… and he'd take care of me… And I was so dumb that I believed him. That boy always said he's… not gay. But he loved me, a boy."

Kyungsoo is still laughing uproariously.

"Then one day… he hit me, and he said… he'd kill me if… I ever showed up in front of him again." Kyungsoo starts crying again.

Chanyeol knows that he’s the subject of Kyungsoo’s rant. Kyungsoo's words touch his heart. All of those memories from eight years ago flash through his mind. Words can’t express his emotions right now. Regret, sorry, love, disappointment. All of them combined.
