Chapter 19: The confession

Finally, the movie was over, she quickly got up from her seat and was about to leave the theatre. She wasn’t even paying attention to the movie during the last few minutes as she was too busy trying to calm herself down. When she was halfway to the exit, she felt a hand on her wrist, forcefully pulling her away from the door. She turned and was face to face Jong Kook. They looked at each other for a few seconds until he dragged her out of the theatre. Unsure of where he was heading, she tried to pull her wrist free from his hands but he was too strong.
He led her to his car and opened the front door. He signalled for her to get in but she refused. They stood that way for the next few minutes as she stared at him angrily. He tried to pull her into the car but failed. Finally, he picked her up and carried her in. She kept her arms cross, acting like she hated what he just did. He then shut the door and walked towards the driver seat. She reached for the door handle and tried to open the door but it didn’t. He must have put the door on child lock. When he got in, she glared at him and was return with a smile. He reached for her seat belt and fasten it for her. The feelings she felt in the theatre came rushing back to her and her hands started feeling clammy.
She didn’t know where he was driving her to and they kept silent throughout the entire ride. Her eyes started to feel heavy and she fell asleep.

He pulled up in front of her house and realize that she was asleep. She laid her head on the seat belts and slept with slightly open. She kept her hands cross throughout the entire time and he saw a red mark on her wrist. He must have held on to her wrist too forcefully, leaving a red imprint.
