As she listened to Dong Wook’s explanation, she started to frowned. Apparently, the CEO had made a stern warning to the entire company on the events that happened yesterday. He wanted to make sure that everyone was no longer talking about it and announced that whoever was still dwelling over the past would be fired.

“What’s your relationship with the CEO?” Dong Wook said curiously.

“There’s no relationship between me and the CEO. Stop talking about it, otherwise you would get fired too!” and she hit him on his back.

“Ouch…arrasso” he said annoyed.

She looked around the office and no one was glaring at her anymore. She clasped her hands, feeling a set of mix feelings.

When she got home, she saw both Joong Ki and Ji Eun seated on the couch, frowning.

“I’m home” she said softly.

The both of them immediately jumped out of their seat and said “Unnie/Noona, are you ok?”

“neh” she said.

“Are you sure?” Ji Eun said as she held tightly on her arm.

“neh. I am ok!” she said. “Ah... and you are holding my arm really tightly!” she exclaimed and she immediately let go. “Mianhe!” Ji Eun said.

“It’s ok, I’ll go up to get change” she said leaving both of them behind.

As she walked up the stairs, she saw that her room door was left ajar. She walked towards it and took a peek. She saw her father seated on one of the chairs and said “Sajangnim”

He smiled and signalled for her to come in. As the closer she got, the more awkward it was. She stood in front of him and he said “You must be surprised at my announcement”

“neh…”she nodded her head.

“Mianhe…for not acknowledging you. But it’s not time yet”

“ah…it’s ok” she said.

“anyway…mianhe” he said as he got up.

“It’s alright, I am not ready for it too” she said, trying to reassure him.
