While the festival was going on already and the courtyard was crowded with students and visitors, Taehyung was sitting in one of the practicing rooms for the piano division. He was practicing the piano piece some more. Since Kwon Jiyong had told him how to play, he tried hard to get what the man had told him, but he felt like it still wasn't like it should be. Over and over again he went through the score, let his hand fly over the keyboard of the piano and over and over again Kwon Jiyong's words came up to the student's mind. "Showmanship... appeal... as if in agony...", Taehyung thought as he was playing the piece another time, but then he stopped and sighed loudly, "I don't understand. What does seonsaengnim want me to do?"
He was sitting in front of the piano and ran his fingers through his hands, while the setting sun was lightening up the room with a warm orange-red light as suddenly he heard how the door opened. When he turned around he saw a hand in black cloth gloves. The hand placed a ticket on the ground and the door closed quickly again. Taehyung stood up and picked up the ticket. It was a ticket for the performance of S-Group in the performance hall in some minutes. When Taehyung saw the S-Group logo and quickly realized that it must have been Jungkook. He ripped open the door and stepped out of the room, but all he saw was a shadow, which vanished behind the next corner and a snake stuff toy laid on the ground. He looked confused at the scene and suddenly the hand appeared again and picked up the stuff toy and all what Taehyung heard were the leaving steps. Once more he looked on the ticket and then checked the time on his watch. He should leave now before the hall was too crowded.
He entered the hall, where lots of people were sitting already, they were all waiting curiously for the next performance. Taehyung sat down in one of the last rows, but he checked that he would have a good view towards the stage. The hall was still filled with the peoples' voices and talking and Taehyung had still time to think. "S-Group without Kwon Jiyong or me... What are those guys planning?" Taehyung was really curious about what they would show the audience.
Suddenly the light turned off and usually the stage was brightly lightened up but unlike the normal stage, now everything was dark. So only shadows were visible when they entered the stage. A humming sound sounded up, giving the audience the sign that the performance was about to start. Then the sound of a pianica came up, which confused Taehyung a lot. They were a dance crew, why was there a pianica. The stage was still dark but suddenly a spotlight was on someone in a cute animal costume and a huge murmur and squealing went through the audience. Here and there people mentioned how cute it looked and Taehyung looked surprised and shocked at the same time but he couldn't help to smile. "Jungkook?"
The animal costume guy started playing the pianica quietly and after some seconds the music joined and the stage lightened up slowly. It revealed the dance crew, who were wearing their Korean traditional clothing. They were frozen. The only one who danced lightly around was the animal. "Yes, it's Jungkook", Taehyung smiled.
The dancers moved lightly and like robots, then they froze into new positions again. Every move matched the music well and supported the dancing animal who kept playing the pianica while dancing. Suddenly there was some kind of a break in the music and the whole stage got lightened up, the music became fast and modern and the dancers' part began and the audience started clapping loudly in the rhythm of the music. Jungkook was dancing in front of the whole crew, which looked cute and kind of ridiculous because the head of the costume was so much bigger than the rest of it.
"Hey, hey... this is quite cool. The arrangement is really good", Taehyung thought while watching closely what his friends were doing on the stage, "The pianica also have solos?" He looked closely at Jungkook who was playing the pianica, dancing calmly when the spotlight was onto him only. "Nice attention to small details." Then Taehyung suddenly realized something. Something he was having trouble to understand but when he saw Namjoon and Yoongi joining Jungkook and dancing at the front of all, he finally understood what he was trying to understand. "This is showmanship...", it popped up to his mind, "Though it looks a little silly, you guys are definitely in your element!" The performance ended with all dancers doing a high jump but unlike the dancers, Jungkook ended up lying on the ground because of the huge head.
The audience gave them standing ovations and clapped loudly. Taehyung stood up as well and clapped. He looked kind of proud and was happy to see his friend did well and that there was no need for him to worry about them. "S-Group you showed us something quite good", Taehyung thought while the dancers were bowing to the audience. Taehyung quickly left the hall, it was time for him to change and get ready for his own performance. "I should also give my own unique performance while trusting in myself", Taehyung thought and looked back, "Sorry Yoongi, but the main act will be by me."

Jungkook sat down on a bench, where he finally put down the head of his costume. He placed it next to him on the bench and wiped his forehead. Under the costume it was really hot, causing him to sweat. The young man released a long sigh and took a long sip of his water. "Ahh... I wonder if Taehyung seonbae came to see us", he talked to himself. He sounded exhausted and tired. Suddenly a clapping caught his attention and Jungkook looked around until he saw Jiyong coming closer to him. "Milch...", Jungkook mentioned surprised.
"Although it was quite and unusual performance it was very good. Very entertaining!", Jiyong spoke and walked over to Jungkook.
"Really?"
Jiyong agreed and sat down next to the boy. "Kookie. What do you want to be in the future?", the man asked and smiled warmly.
"Huh? A quiz out of the blue?", Jungkook babbled confused.
"No, it's not a quiz", Jiyong chuckled, "It's about your future hopes."
"I wish...", Jungkook said and looked up to the sky for a moment, before he turned back to the older one, "...to be a kindergarten teacher." Jiyong was a bit surprised about what he heard because he had expected something interesting but nothing like this. Jungkook turned away and smiled shyly while his cheeks turned red. "But recently...", Jungkook mumbled shyly, "I wish to be Taehyung seonbae's hubby, too... So my ultimate dream is to marry Taehyung seonbae and be a kindergarten teacher." Then the boy let out a squeal and hugged the head of his costume, hiding he red face, while Jiyong just looked at him smiling. "Oh, how embarrassing!"
"Oh, Taehyung...", Jiyong mentioned and caught Jungkook's attention, who looked back to the older one, "But Kookie, as things stand now you can't be with Taehyung."
"Eh?"
"You can't be with him", the man repeated himself, while Jungkook looked confused and sadly at him. "Oh, it's time now", Jiyong looked down on his pocket watch for a moment, then he stood up and looked at Jungkook, "You've done a lot for me." Jiyong hold his hand to Jungkook, which the student took confused, "This is a present for you." The choreographer laid his pocket watch into Jungkook's hand and smiled, before he turned around and walk off. Jungkook looked at the watch and then turned around looking after Jiyong. "Milch..."

Taehyung was backstage of the great hall. He was fixing his jacket in front of the mirror and over and over again he was checking his up styled hair. He felt nervous, which was new to him because usually he was always very confident about performing. He turned from side to side, checking if everything was fitting well. "That's a good sign", a voice appeared form the back and Taehyung turned around. He saw Jiyong, who was leaning against the door frame and observed him. "What about making your hair stand up a bit more? And perhaps it's better to take off that tie", Jiyong said and stepped closer to his student.
"I'll say it in advance. I'm going to perform the way I want", Taehyung replied to the choreographer's words.
"Of course, by all means!"
"Huh?", Taehyung turned confused to Jiyong, "You told me to show iness, to show agony..."
"Forget those things", Jiyong interrupted him and Taehyung sighed, "What important is how seriously you faced this piece. That will be enough. Now, I have to show off before my beloved Seunghyun too, because after this, I'll be away from Korea for a while." Taehyung's eyes grew big, he wasn't sure if he understood what Jiyong wanted to say. "Okay, shall we go now? It's time to have some fun."
The small orchestra was tuning while the dancers of A-Group took place on stage. Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok were sitting in the audience, checking out the stage curiously. Yet neither Taehyung nor Jiyong were outside already. Suddenly Namjoon stood up and looked confused around. "Namjoonie?", Yoongi asked confused.
"Where's Jungkook?", the blonde, tall man said.
The audience clapped when Taehyung and Jiyong entered the stage. The orchestra, the dancers and Taehyung turned to the audience and bowed, while Jiyong clapped lightly to his student as well. Everyone got on their places and it became really quiet into the hall. It was so quiet that the silence was almost ready to hand. Taehyung sat in front of the piano and exchanged looked with Jimin, who gave him a confident smile. Then Taehyung's look wandered over to Jiyong, who looked strict and concentrated but still a small smile was forming the man's lips. They both nodded to each other and Taehyung turned back to the piano. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before he started playing the piano and one of the ballet dancers joined him with her moves and when the orchestra joined Taehyung's piano the other dancers started to move as well.
At the same time Namjoon were outside looking for Jungkook, who was still sitting on the bench. "Kookie!", Namjoon said when he found the younger one and ran over to him, "What are you doing? Taehyung's concert has started!"
"Oh! But I'm still in this costume...", Jungkook mumbled.
"It's okay, come quick! Hurry! You'll have to stand and watch. Okay, got it?", Namjoon spoke and quickly ran off again, heading back to the great hall. Jungkook looked after his friend, then he picked up his costume's head and started running after Namjoon.
The dance performance was greatly balanced between classical ballet and modern hip hop moves and it was matching the classical music very well. Jungkook was rushing into the hall. He was panting heavily. He felt kind of down about what Jiyong had told him, but he felt better as soon as he saw Taehyung. Taehyung was concentrated on his piano, just sometimes he looked over to Jiyong, Jimin or the others, but suddenly his glance turned lightly to the audience and his saw Jungkook, who was standing quietly and like a pillar at the door of the hall. Taehyung kept playing perfectly but his eyes couldn't let go of Jungkook, who looked so sad and down. "I don't like the fact that you are looking like this", Taehyung thought. The piece kept on going and when it came to the end Taehyung was breathing quickly like the dancers. He was so concentrated on playing, like his inner perfectionist made him to, that he almost forgot to breathe probably. The audience was stunned and clapped loudly, giving them standing ovations too, while his friends were shouting happily for Taehyung. Only Jungkook was standing there, frozen and not moving an inch. Over and over again Jiyong's words were clanging in Jungkook's mind. He didn't know what Jiyong meant when he said that Taehyung and him couldn't be together. He didn't know how he could find out what it meant. He didn't know what he could, no what he had to change to be able to be with Taehyung, because it was part of his dream. He could live without becoming a kindergarten teacher, but without Taehyung? Jungkook couldn't imagine being without the older one anymore. He wanted Taehyung to be part of his life forever.
