„It was the day were my father left me and my mum“

The lights of the moon hit his face were you could watch his sorrowful but shiny eyes. I kept quiet, hoping he would continue his story.

„I always watched my mum and my father. They didn’t behave like the other parents. While everyone had a warm dinner together, laughing, talking… We were alone. My father was barely at home because of work. My mother cooked for me and also left. I never knew where she went. She opened the TV so that it wouldn’t be boring and went away. Every day and every night it was the same“

He paused for a second and looked up to the sky.

I’ve stared at him without interruption.

„I was eleven. I started to rap. I’ve wrote all of my worries and started to rap. It felt so good. I felt like I am letting go all of my problems. As if they all dissappeard one by one. One year after, my parents had a big fight. They destroyed everything while fighting. Throwing things like vases and dishes“

Hanbin started to chuckle.

„Imagine you are ing twelve years old. Seeing things flying from one corner of the room to the other. Suddenly my father went out of the house. The worst thing was… my mother was pregnant. She started to scream out of pain because of the baby. I didn’t know what to do so I ran after my father. I begged ‘Mum is in pain! Father please help her!‘ But he didn’t listen and from that moment on I never saw him again“

Hanbin started to lean backwards and rubbed his tired eyes.

„Hanbin I-“ I tried to brighten him up but he interrupt me.

„It’s not over yet. My little sister was born“ He smiled genuinely „When I was 17 , two years ago, I heard the truth from my father. He called me and explained why they always fought with my mother. It was because they never loved each other. Mum was in love with an another man and my father with an another woman. But they had to marry  because of family reasons. It was a forced marriage. They tried and tried to be happy but in never happened. After I was born they stayed married out of pity. Because I was there and they hadn’t an another option. They didn’t know what to do with me. Am I going to my father’s side or my mother’s? Because of that both of them had an affair with their loved ones. They knew from each other but they thought it would be the best solution to not to tell me. I was the stupid one in the family. Imagine that, your parents are constantly lying to you since ing 17 years“

I felt my eyes getting wet.

„Ah jinjja… It’s so embarassing to tell you. My sister is not from my father. It’s from the man my mum loved. And the fight was because of it. Not because she slept with an another man. It was because things could get more complicated as it is. So all in all, they lived in two different worlds. I was in between their worlds. Why? Because if I wouldn’t be born they could divorce and marry the one they love. It’s like I was the black sheep in their world“

I felt a single tear sliding down through my cheeks. And I thought my life would be miserable. Hanbin rolled his head to me and smiled. Slowly he wiped my tears away.

„Why are you the one who is crying?“

My eyes were burning and my chest felt heavy. I could see no longer clearly. My breath was was uneven and I hitched occasionally. I didn’t know that the pain from others could make you cry like this.

„Yaa… Hayi….Stop it“ Hanbin looked at me with worried eyes. I neve knew how much pain he held in himself. He then hugged me carefully.

After some minutes I finally find the strengh to talk.

„I’m happy… Really happy that you opened up a litte“

„Yea.. you are the only person whom I told it“

„Not even Bobby?“ I sniffed lightly.

„Not everything. Just some parts“

Suddenly Hanbin’s phone rang. As he looked who was calling, he smiled sincerely.

He answered the call „Ohh my baby is calling me?“

My eyes popped out as I heard the word ‘baby‘.

„Of course I will pick you up today. And yes we can watch movies until the next day“

Now I coughed. Picking up someone in the middle of the night? Watching movies until tomorrow?

„Yaa! Who is it?“ I furrowed my brows. But Hanbin just tried to close my mouth.

„Love you too“ He blowed a kiss though the phone.

My mouth still was half open.

„I asked you who it was?!“ I felt anger consuming me.

„Ah it was my sweetheart Hanbyul“ He grinned and his white teeth showed up.

„It was Hanbyul? What a beautiful name she has. Your friend?“ You could hear the irony of my ‘kindness‘.

„Aniya not a friend. More than that“

Is he trying to tease me?

„Oh your girlfriend?“

„Nope. More than that“

„Omo“ I covered my mouth.

„Wae?“ He tried to indentify what I wanted to say „NO I’M NOT MARRIED YET!“

I just looked at him clueless.

„She is my little sister“

Suddenly blood rushed all over my face.

„Aigo this girl“ He ruffled my hair.

We continued our walk.

„So, are you going to pick her up today?“

„Yea“

„She lives with her mother?“

„Yea. And with her real father“ We both looked to the ground while walking.

„Your mum has remarried? Did you talk with your mum?“

„Yes she is now happy with her new husband. And no, since I heard the truth I didn’t even looked at her face“

„But you are still in contact with Hanbyul. What a relief“ The corner of my mouth rised.

„They can take everything I have but not my sister. She is all I have. She is my only real family. I still wonder why I call my parents ‘Mum‘ and ‘Dad‘ “

„Maybe deep in your heart you still love your parents“ I turned my head to him.

„I don’t think so. It’s just out of respect“ He looked at the sky „The moon dissappeard“

I also looked up „Hanbin-ah? Why did you confess to me on Friday?“

He suddenly stopped and turned his head to me. Without talking he just stared at me.

„Umm“ I tried to look away. After that he continued his walk.

„Don’t know“

What’s with him?

As we arrived at my home, he waved at me and turned around to walk.

Before I watched him dissappearing I shout .

„Yaa! Kim Hanbin!“ I ran after him and hold his hood from his pullover.

„What are you doing?“ He looked at me annoyed.

„You stupid ! Your confession… Did you take it back already? Are you that scared of my response?! What kind of a man are you? Behaving like nothing happened. Is it that easy for you? Am I that an easy-going person to you?“

He stared at me wordlessly while furrowing his brows.

I let go of him.

„Be my boyfriend!“

Author's note: Today's update is short. I'm sorry >.< I wanted to upload as fast as I can. Some asked if Hanbin joked but nope it wasn't a joke. He was just scared that Hayi might reject him. But we all know that Hayi is in love with Hanbin kekeke.
