Because of Our Dads [Edited]
Kyuhyun’s POV
“Hyung, be honest.”
My manager looked up from his blackberry with his eyebrows arched. Then he looked back at his planner. “Honest about what?”
I took a deep breath and asked, “Was SM going to announce HyeoEun and my breakup.” Hyung paused with his typing. He put his blackberry in his pocket and gave me his full attention. “Who told you this?”
“I found out through Minho.”
“And how did HE find out?!”
“HyeoEun told him.”
“And how exactly did he meet her?” his frustration started to show in his tone.
“In Japan.”
He sighed. I swear I heard a growl. “Kids nowadays say what they want when they want.”
“So it’s true?!” I fell back onto my chair. “Omo! They were going to break up?!” “When did this happen?” I jumped and turned around to see EunHae whispering to each other. Darn, I forgot they were in the van. “Yah, hyung. Don’t tell anybody. Jelbal.”
“Don’t worry we won’t tell anyone.”
“You better not,” manager-hyung said fiercely. “It’s bad enough that someone like Minho knows already.”
“Hyung. What am I going to do? I don’t want to break up with her.”
“Kyuhyun, shut up. You sound pathetic,” Donghae said in his Mokpo accent. “We’ll help you to fix this. You can count on us.” I face-palmed myself. This isn’t going to work.
“Yah Cho Kyuhyun. We saw that,” Eunhyuk said.
“But I agree with him. You guys are no help. Kyuhyun, listen to me. I’M GLAD she didn’t go ahead with the announcement. That’s dumb. Just forgive you and get on with life. Anyway, she’s coming back in a week for her ex-manager’s hearing. Get a grip and woo her quickly. I heard from noona that she met
