Kyuhyun’s POV
Everybody was stunned. What just happened? “Yah Kyuhyun run after her!” the hyungs pushed me. My feet led me quickly into the cable car right before the doors closed. She turned and looked at me. “What are you doing here?” She asked in a frantic voice. I looked at her blurly. “I have no idea.” We both sat at the bench as we watched the tiny bottom station get bigger.
“Are we going to talk about this?” I asked. “We have to settle this-“ Suddenly, the cable car came to a jerky stop. HyeoEun almost fell out of her seat, and I grabbed on to her. Ahbeoji’s voice came onto the speaker. “HyeoEun-ah. When you talked to me the other day, I knew that you cared for Kyuhyun a lot. Maybe you were too shocked by the big proposal, or you’ve changed your mind. Whatever it is, please talk it out. I know you’re afraid of heights like Kyuhyun told me, so I will keep you two dangling there until you’re done. Kyuhyun-ah, call me when you’re done.“
We looked at each other. She was still in my arms. I let go off her and we sat awkwardly on the bench. She was starting to sweat a lot. “Koenchana?” She looked down and said, “I thought we were breaking up. I cried so much thinking we were breaking up.”
I smiled. “I thought our surprise was busted.”
“Why do you want to marry me?” I looked at her. She had that serious look on her face, yet there was confusion in her voice. She looked down and continued, “It’s not like... I can give you children or anything. You don’t have to marry me because you’re sorry.” A tear fell from her eye.
