Kyuhyun’s POV

When I came out of the bathroom, she was still washing the dishes. I went and boiled water to make tea. While waiting, I helped her by drying the dishes and placing them in the cupboard. She carried the cups to the sofa and sat on the sofa waiting for me. I sat down next to her and took my cup from her hand. The cup was definitely warming my hands up after drying the cold, wet dishes. I set it on the ground after taking a sip. Note to self: get a coffee table.

There we were sitting on the sofa, both of us having our legs crossed. “I don’t want to end this,” my voice filled the empty and quiet hall. “I meant it when I said I hadn’t considered anyone but you. I’m sorry that I don’t love you yet, but I’m sure I will grow to love you. I want to do this, HyeoEun-ah.” I saw tears in her round eyes. “I’m sorry I have no idea why I’m crying haha,” she said, sniffing as she rubbed her eyes with her hands. I reached out my hand with the tears off her cheeks. We gazed at each other for a while before I broke it and suggested listing out the negotiable parts for the contract. She had decided to join S.M.

She leaned her head on my shoulder as I lay back on the couch. We were still looking at the contract and I was circling the parts that we wanted to change. I turned and asked her if she had wanted to change anything on that page and saw her sleeping so soundly. I smiled and went back to editing, trying to shif
