Seven - The News
I Miss YouAhyoung walked out of the room, sitting on a bench, because she didn’t want to leave Jongin. No, at least before he woke up. She wanted to cry, of course. When he called her to stay with him because he was lonely, Ahyoung thought that finally someone needs her. Finally, someone wanted to be with her.
But she didn’t know that it’d be like this.
“Don’t mind her, she’s just too worried about Jongin.” Mark sat beside Ahyoung and gave her a cup of tea. “Drink this first.”
“Thank you.” She smiled at him, “But, what are you doing with Miyoung at this hour? How could she came with you?”
“Should I be the one who asked, what are you doing with Jongin in this late night?”
They chuckled, “Do you feel relieved because they broke up?” she asked.
“I don’t know. How about you?”
“Sometimes. I’m glad he’s single now, I don’t know why. Maybe because we can spend time together now. I’m so crazy.”
“I’m happy because I can be the one who she relay on instead of Jongin. But, seeing her devastated, I can’t feel anything.”
Ahyoung looked at the cup of tea on her hands, “He’s devastated, too.”
“Do you want me to drive you home? Miyoung won’t let you see Jongin right now, come back with me tomorrow after school.”
She spent the night beside him, sleeping while holding his hands, hoping he’ll be okay under the oxygen mask. His breath could be heard clearly by her, the heavy breath of Kim Jongin. It’s not the first time he had to suffered because of the asthma, yet, he’s still smoke.
Miyoung don’t mind anyone who came to see Jongin that night, she just wanted him to awake, and be healthy. She forgot the fight they had this morning, she forgot everything about what she said just then.
Because she couldn’t lie that she’s still worried about him.
His fingers moved, caressing Miyoung’s hand which’s still holding him. He smiled, seeing the beloved one. “Miyoung…”
“You’re awake?” she smiled, the back of his palm. “Let me call the nurse.”
“No,” he grabbed her hands, “Don’t go, stay with me.”

“Miyoung said Jongin’s fully awake now.” Mark said, as he approached Ahyoung and her friends in the canteen. “Do you want to come with me?”
“Do you think Miyoug will ever let me to meet Jongin?”
“You have me,” he made sure Ahyoung feels save with him, “Let’s meet after school.” He said before leaving the circles of the girls.
“Wow, you sure know much about Jongin and Miyoung… and that hottie –“
“Mark.” Suyeon corrected her friend.
“Yea, and Mark. What happened to four of you? You guys seemed closer than we know?” Yumi asked curiously, like she wanted to know about everything.
Ahyoung just shrugged, “I don’t even know what happened.”
As they promised, Ahyoung and Mark went to the hospital to meet Miyoung and Jongin. She really, really wanted to meet Jongin. At least she wanted to make sure that Jongin’s okay. Even though she already knew that everything wouldn’t be the same as it used to, but she didn’t want Jongin to leave her.
