Twenty Three – The Start

! She told me to treat her like a stranger – stupid request and I will never do that. How could she said that? Even if she kneeled down in front of me, I will never treat her like a stranger. I might be an for the rest of my life, but I will never forget someone who changed my life to be better.

Well, at least I was better than today.

Even before I answered, Ahyoung left the car and I quickly catch her. No, I don’t want us to end in a damn misunderstanding anymore ever. But when we both stood outside the car, there is a familiar couple in front of us.

It’s Mark and Miyoung.

They’re walking towards us while holding hands – they’re still the lovey dovey couple as before unlike Ahyoung and I. The match made in heaven. I can’t believe that Mark could handle Miyoung that well and he could make her happy.

Meanwhile me, I made her cry every day. Miyoung should be thankful that we broke up that time because if we have never break up, then Mark would never get a chance – and Miyoung would never be happy.

And I will never be with Ahyoung.

Sometimes I have to thank for everything I got, because even if I didn’t like it at first – there’ll be something beautiful in the end. For the example: Jung Ahyoung.

“Wow! You two are still together?” Ahyoung said.

And the couple in front of us smiled widely, “Yeah. And how about you? Seems like both of you are also still together, right?”

No. “Yes, of course. We are still together,” I squeezed Ahyoung’s hand tightly, “and we are doing fine.”

I promised to Miyoung to be better even without her, and I promised to Mark that I will take care of Ahyoung. Because Mark and Miyoung really helped us back in the days, and I can’t believe after we dated for one and half year, I forgot of the start of why I started this relationship with Ahyoung.

Lust and anger really drove me.

“We’re going to your sister’s place. Coming?” Mark said, asking us to come with them.

“But we’re going home. Now.” I said while opened the car door and made Ahyoung sat on the seat.
