Twenty Eight - The Bestfriend
I Miss YouTwenty Eight – The Bestfriend
Jongin’s point of view
We decided to watch a movie since it’s been a long time since the last time we went out like a normal couple. I prepared everything like wearing this shirt which is Ahyoung’s favorite. Being romantic is not really my forte, but my heart’s beating like it’s our first date.
Imagining the whole date, I got excited so much that I can’t stay still while driving. My lips kept smiling all the way to her flat, can’t wait to see her face. I know Ahyoung isn’t a person who would try too hard to look good on dates but she always looks fine with everything she wears.
Well she’s also damn fine when she doesn’t wear anything.
But when I arrived right in front of the building, Ahyoung’s standing and got in a taxi not long after that. Where’s she going? No way she forgot our date?
Her name flashed on my phone screen as I was still driving the car, following the taxi she’s in. “Jongin? I’m sorry we have to cancel today’s date. I… I… my Mom want to meet me.”
Her Mom? But this is not the way to her Mom’s place though? “Oh, okay. Let’s meet tomorrow.”
There’s something wrong with her that made her lied to me. There’s something fishy with her attitude these days since she always hid everything from me. At first I tried to believe in her, but seems like I’m not the only one for her right now. Even though I wish I’m still the only one.
The route’s familiar for me, I feel like I’ve went to this route often? And this sure not her Mom’s place like she has said to me. This is Mark’s house.
What the hell happened between them? And why she canceled the date just because of him? Like really, he’s Miyoung’s boyfriend for God’s sake!
And I realized that since I found out the conversation of her and Mark, I can’t think straight. And she seemed to be busy lately with Mark. Almost for everyday she’d met Mark and ditched me.
I thought there’s nothing special but… am I wrong?
Right after she arrived and waited in the front door, I parked my car and approached her. “Jongin… what… what are you doing here?” she looked shocked as . Surprised, ?
“I don’t think this is your Mom’s place.” I grabbed her wrist tightly, looking straight to her eyes meanwhile she tried to let go of me.
“Can we talk later?”
Then Mark opened the door, also looked as shocked as Ahyoung. This guy, I thought he’s not a cheater bastard. I thought he could make Miyoung happy. But he’s even worse than me.
“Jongin? Why are you here?”
I punched his jaw, making him pushed backwards. “Stupid cheater! And do you want me to be responsible while you’re cheating with my girlfriend behind Miyoung? No, you’re not even any better than me!”
While dragging Ahyoung who’s crying to my car, I just drove my car without even talking to her. I’m not kind of people who would hold everything in, if I had to explode then I would. And the most important thing is I can’t stand looking at her crying. It hurts my heart, seriously.
So I parked the car, “Stop crying.” I said.
But she didn’t answer.
“Stop crying, I said.” I repeated.
And still, there’s no answer from her. She’s just sobbing.
“Stop crying, !”
That sentence made her slapped my che
