Twenty – The New Page

We broke up. Yes, after a one and half year being in a relation- with Kim Jongin, we broke up. Even though we both still try to smile to each other when we bumped to each other in the corridor. And sometimes I regret… why did I had to choose the same University with him, and we both accepted.

First few months in the University went well for us, until he’s so damn busy with his friends and his new world. I wasn’t egoist, we were both tired and decided to break up.

“Ah, I’ve missed you too. And tell Rahee, I’m going to buy her lots of sweet – pink – toys!”

Rahee, she was born one year ago. The daughter of someone who ruined the whole family, Im Jaebum. She’s my first niece, and I couldn’t believe she looked like Jongin. No, it doesn’t mean her face looks like Jongin, it’s just, something’s really reminded me to Jongin. Maybe because Jongin’s her life saver even before she was born.

What the hell happened here? How could I move on?

So, what happened one year ago was…

“Miyoung, I need to talk with you.” He said, as he fixed the suit that he wears. Miyoung was so beautiful with her white dress on, preparing the baby’s breath for Minha… and Jaebum. Then he led her to the balcon, standing while feeling the wind breeze.

“Jongin, I’ve told my sister about Jaebum… and Ahreum. She cried and rushed to talk with Ahreum, because she couldn’t care-less, her fiancé made someone else pregnant and she’s going to marry him in the next day? How could I be that bad to let her marry a jerk?”

The guy hugged her waist, letting her to cry on his shoulder. They both know, hurt by a truth is way better than living happily in between lies.

“Thank you, Jongin. You saved everyone.”

“Actually it was Mark who always telling me to say the truth, and don’t be afraid of what Jaebum had said. Thank you to your boyfriend.”

Minha looked at the mirror; she was pretty and extremely gorgeous with the white gown. Today’s her wedding day, but she couldn’t stop shedding tears every time she looked at herself. The baby’s breath that she holds really made everything even worse.

Because she always dreamed to hold a baby’s breath on her wedding day. But when they day has come, she had to…
