Thirty Two - The Reveal
I Miss YouThirty Two – The Reveal
Jongin’s Point of View
“Do you want my brother to drive you home? It’s past midnight, Ahyoung.”
She buttoned up her shirt while looking at the mirror, fixing her hair a little bit then looked at me. “Truth to be told, I’m afraid to take a taxi in this hour. But would you brother want to drive me home? I don’t think he would wake up for me.”
“Then, who will you call at this time? Chanyeol? Sehun? Mark?”
Her face showed an annoyed expression as I brought the topic back. I know that I shouldn’t say that – my mouth just doesn’t want to shut up. “I’m sorry.” I quickly apologized.
My brother isn’t even sleeping at this time and he’s still down there watching television. And what I really like from him is that he treats Ahyoung just like his own sister and he doesn’t mind to drive her home even at this hour.
As soon as Ahyoung left the house, I quickly put salve on my injured arm. Yes, the injury from the old time couldn’t be healed properly because I kept doing things that stressed myself. The doctor said that whenever I stressed myself then I would feel the pain even more.
The fever I have right now isn’t because I slept outside waiting for Ahyoung last night, it’s because there are many things going on my mind that made me stress. Sometimes I just wanted to cut my arm so I wouldn’t feel this damn pain anymore, it’s killing me softly.
And I don’t want Ahyoung to know about that.
“But, Mooooooom!”
“No, Jongin. You’re not going anywhere. Look at that injury, you’re just killing yourself!”
“But I have a lot things to do!” I have to make sure Ahyoung’s not flirting with another guy at campus. I have to make sure that Ahyoung’s not meeting with another guy behind my back again. “And I have schedules!”
“You don’t have schedule for the next three days and I’ve talked to your manager to change your schedules this month.”
“Mommmmm!!”
“You’re whining like a little kid, Jongin!”
I don’t care if I’m whining like a little kid, and I don’t care about the schedule either. I just don’t want to be stuck here for weeks because Ahyoung would be aware about my injury. I can’t lie to her because… who stayed at home for weeks just because a fever?
After spending almost half a day in boredom, two people that actually I didn’t even invite them – came to my house and just playing the Xbox as if it theirs. Without even asking why I didn’t attend the class today, they just talking about anything else.
But, thanks God, Sehun’s a little better than Chanyeol. “Is it your injury again?” He asked while playing the game.
“Yeah.”
“Do you want to hear the real story of Hani and I?” Chanyeol put down the controller as the game ended with Sehun as the winner. “That high school girl.”
Both Sehun and I nodded our head.
“So, I met her yesterday and I was shocked because she’s perfectly fine for someone who just aborted her baby. She gave me the money that I gave to her last time and she told me the whole ing reality.” He lighted up a cigarette then smoked it, “Hani is friend of a that I ed before. And that used Hani to make me fall in love then she has to dump me.”
“Did you really falling in love?” I asked, but Chanyeol seemed to skip the answer.
Flashback.
“This is your money, I’m sorry.” Hani coul
