Thirty One – The Make Up

Mark’s waiting for me outside and I can tell from his expression that he met Jongin before he went to Sehun’s place. They might talked about some things that I shouldn’t know, but I bet Mark didn’t tell about the abortion because he’s still alive.

If he ever wanted to tell Jongin about the abortion, then he has to prepare everything to be beaten by Jongin.

An incoming call from Loser…

“Who’s loser?” Mark asked as he took a glance on my phone.

“Jongin.”

“Just pick up the phone, I told him that I’m going to talk with you and he agreed that he wouldn’t in.”

Wow. I’m impressed that Jongin finally could take someone’s words.

“Where are you going with Mark?” he just blurted out without even greeting me.

“I don’t know. It might be a coffee shop.”

“I will pick you up in two hours. Don’t worry I will let you talk with him. Two hours.” And then he ended the call. Something’s wrong with his brain. He’s crazy.

But my heart skipped a bit when I heard his voice through the phone. He didn’t yell at me nor sounded bossy. He just sounded like someone who cares about me a lot, he sounded normal like when he usually wanted to pick me up from somewhere. He sounded sincere.

And it reminded me how I stayed with him. He might be an who left me in the road but he would always came back to pick me up. He might be the one who made me cry, but he’s also the only one who wiped my tears.

That ; Kim Jongin.

I smiled unconsciously, thanking God that Kim Jongin’s still with me. Even though we are not in the same boat anymore.

“You have to send the application, if you want to save your relationship with Miyoung.”

Mark sipped the coffee then shook his head, “I feel so useless.”

“I know, it’s both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so very deeply.” I lighted the cigarette then looked at Mark’s face. He’s getting skinnier each day and his mind’s always going back and forth to Miyoung. How could he became such a mess like this? “Miyoung’s alright. She just needs a total bed rest. But, you know what? It’s not her physic that needs a total rest, but her mind. She wouldn’t be better if you don’t try to be better either.”

He looked confused, I sighed.

“I meannnnn…… she would think about you and her mind wouldn’t rest. If you send the application and just do what she wanted, she would be better. I mean, even though you and Miyoung did something wrong and in the end Miyoung’s the one who felt the pain, she doesn’t even mad at you – because she loves you. She loves you so she let you to catch your dream and forget about the regret you have. She let you to be better so in the future both of you could be a real family in a better situation – she doesn’t mean to break up with you, stupid.”

I don’t know why most of guys are stupid enough that girls has to explain every single and detailed things to them so they could understand?

“Ahyoung…”

“Yes?”

“I know you were talking about Miyoung and I, but I feel like you’re also talking about you and Jongin?” . I got caught. “Could you tell me what makes you fall deeply into Jongin?”

If I ever had to explain what makes me fall deeply to Kim Jongin, I think I could waste all the papers in this world. Because… there are so many things that I love from him.

“You got me, Mark.” I laughed bitterly, “If I had to put it in a simple phrase, because he prefers listening to other people talking rather than talking. Because he said that when he listened to people, he got something new. While when he talked, he just repeated what he already knows
