Sixteen - The Family
I Miss YouHe didn’t bother to look at her even after she answered the confession, his eyes were still focused to the TV screen even though it just random news. No, Kim Jongin isn’t kind of people who would watch news at this time, when almost the whole country reporting about his injury and shows list of his enemies.
Her eyes wandered to the table, with a bowl of untouched chicken porridge. “Is that your meal?”
And suddenly his Mom walked, passing behind them while saying, “Oh, honey, he’s waiting for me to feed him.” while giggling then leaving the couple alone, again.
Jongin’s face was all red, “It’s because I can’t eat with my left hand!” he said while looking at the ceiling, blinking his eyes many times as he gets embarrassed.
Automatically Ahyoung just grabbed the bowl and started feeding him. He looked embarrassed because she just feed him without any words, like it’s her duty to take care of him. “So, how do we start over our… relationship?”
That was the most purest question that Jongin ever asked to her. Hearing the question and looking at his embarrassed face, Ahyoung couldn’t help but smile. He’s so precious that nobody could resist him, and she just hoped that her choice to stay with him is the best choice that she’ll never regret.
“Finish your meal first, patient Kim!” she said as she forced the spoon to fit into his mouth. Laughing, seeing her laughing is the best thing ever happened in Jongin’s life. Even in this state, there’s someone who’s still staying by his side, and she’s the one who said she’ll never give up on him. And she really kept her words, not even letting him go.
His heart might not be one hundred percent for Ahyoung, yet. But he’s sure that this crazy feeling is growing each day for her and he didn’t bother to stop it. “Are you mocking me?” he said after swallowing the porridge, but still smiling because Ahyoung’s too cute to resist.
They decided to watch a football match that Jongin waited since the morning, but Ahyoung had no interest at all because she was so sleepy. Her house is quite far from Jongin’s so she took hours to get in here. She’s tired and she’s sleepy.
These days for the past week she couldn’t sleep properly, it must be Jongin who made her awake in the middle of the night. No, it wasn’t the actual Jongin, it was the memory of her and Jongin that made her awake, and cried all night long.
She couldn’t get herself together, her life was a mess, that’s why she decided to come today. And thankfully her choice was great.
Jongin just focused to the match until Ahyoung head fell to his shoulder. Seeing her sleeping like this, he realized that he should’ve take care of her better. She shouldn’t have waiting for Miyoung who’s not going to be happens anyway because Miyoung is already fall head over heels to Mark.
This girl who didn’t know how to give up, he should’ve appreciate her more instead of making her a one night .
He patted her head slowly, kissing the top of her head then smiling, “You’re Ahyo
