Thirty Six – The Flight

Ahyoung’s point of view

We were walking hand in hand and I kept looking at his face, I really wanted to cry as I saw him because I really, really don’t want to lose him anymore. I have to be better Ahyoung for the better Jongin.

Sehun was walking from the different way to the class, and the three of us met in front of the door. I thought Jongin would just send me to the class but…

“Good morning, Sehun.” He greeted.

And sehun replied while smiling, “Good morning Jongin, and Ahyoung.”

“Hey, I think you two have to talk without me.” Then he looked at me, “Clear things up with him, I already made up last night.”

Jongin walked passed by Sehun as he patted the bestfriend’s shoulder. I can’t believe… Sehun and Jongin’s friendship is amazing. If it were me and my bestfriend, I wouldn’t look at her eyes right after we fought at the night.

But Jongin and Sehun just acted like nothing’s happened. Amazing.

“You don’t have to explain anything, Sehun. And stop apologizing to me because I’m the one who has to apologize to you.”

“I think I have to tape my lips together so I wouldn’t say any sorry to you.” He laughed a little, and I smiled seeing him. It’s a relief that finally Sehun could smile again.

“Isn’t it awkward for you and Jongin? But you two acted like nothing.”

“Since we both introvert person, yes, it’s extremely awkward. But that’s what Chanyeol for, he’s being the middle and talked nonsense to break the ice between us. If there’s no Chanyeol last night, Jongin and I wouldn’t even talk this morning.”

Oh. Even Chanyeol is amazing. Sehun, Jongin and Chanyeol are amazing bestfriends.

“Did you hurt anywhere?”

He smiled, “Actually I’m at my best last night and even now. Nothing’s better than living in peace with people that you love, right?”

“It’s a relief. I hope you’re not awkward to work with me since this maquette needs a lot of work together.”

Since it’s almost the end of the semester, we have to work in pair to make a maquette of a house. This should be my payback of my worst ever semester because, truth to be told, I was left behind on this semester due to my argued – made up – argued – made up era with Jongin. And I have to work my off to finish this maquette beautifully.

Being an architecture student is never this difficult when I also had infinite problems with my love life.

Oh, and I think Jongin will be a little abandoned while I work with this maquette for some… months? I believe that the mature Jongin would let me to make this final task perfect, and he would probably have a final task too anyway.

“So, tomorrow Mark will leave, right?”

Yes, finally, Mark will leave for Oxford tomorrow. Leaving Miyoung and all of his guilt here in Korea. But for everyone’s sake, Mark has to leave and catch his dream. Even Miyoung let him go. And even though we all never know what usually happened with Miyoung every time she’s alone and missing her baby.

She might be acted like she’s strong in front all of us, hiding everything from Jongin and the rest of her friends, but deep inside her heart? Who knows?

Today is the day – Mark, his Dad, Miyoung, Jongin, Sehun, Chanyeol, and I gathered at the airport while waiting for his flight. Miyoung seemed sad and she couldn’t hide it anymore. Eventhough Mark said that he will be back soon and his Dad make sure that he’ll take care of Miyoung
