Seventeen - The Date
I Miss YouSoohyuk sat between them, being an annoying third-wheel and that’s not his first time. He was always like that in order to save his brother. He knows well because he’s also a guy who’s sometimes couldn’t hold his hormone, what if their Mom passed by when Jongin’s making out with Ahyoung?
Like he already knew about what happened, Jongin stood up, ordering his left hand to Ahyoung, “Come on, this said we have to get a room.”
“Yeah, since you’re going to Jongin’s room, be careful, it’s dangerous.” He laughed, and Ahyoung didn’t shocked at all because she knew how dangerous is Jongin, and she believed, Jongin will try to cut it down now.
His room is all white, kind of neat for a guy’s room. His scent is always Ahyoung’s favourite, and it’s all over the room. There are some picture on the wall and some on the desk. But some of the frame was turned, seems like Jongin doesn’t want to look at it anymore.
But, why turned it instead of throw it?
“People said that, if you wanted to know about someone, just look at their little room.” She said while looking at the baby picture of Jongin, smiling at how beautiful is this guy even since his baby days.
“Then, do you like my room?”
She proudly nodded, “The answer is just exactly how I like you.”
“What do you like about me?”
“Why should I confess them directly to you?”
Jongin walked closer to her, facing her directly as he smiled and said, “Because you seems appreciating me so much, you even stayed and coming back when I think, I’m nothing. I don’t have anything but dark side and my egoistic life.”
“Then it’s going to be long,” she walked to the bed and sat on it, followed by Jongin who sat beside her. “You’re not interesting when we first met. Just like mediocre douchebag who has a lot of confidence – and confidently making out with his girlfriend at class.”
The guys coughed as the girl underlining the last words.
Then she continued, “But something always stuck on me how people always said that you’re… yeah, just like what you said before, but my heart always said that you’re not like that. You’re not Jongin that you used to be, even before I know you I’ve always had that thoughts. I know you hated me before I was hard-headed much to stuck with you when you still loved Miyoung. But even though you hated me, you’re still taking care of me – the sloppy Ahyoung who could trip by her own ing shoelace. Even though sometimes you made me feel like a one night .”
Hearing these words, Jongin leaned his head to her shoulder while hugging her waist, waiting for the next sentence.
“I said I wanted to give up, and I really tried hard. But I can’t stop thinking of you and it made me crazy enough to talk with the wall or even with the fish. And not be able to see you when you’re all over the TV station for a week made me frustrated. I shouldn’t leave you in this state, when you need someone beside you.” Ahyoung ruffled his hair, “The whiny, needy, , cute little Jonginnie. I think I love you.”
Meanwhile in other hand, Jongin really wanted to reply her confession, but he doesn’t have the confidence, yet. He doesn’t even know where his heart is going right now, the timing was bad.
“And why do you keep trying?”
“Because I care too much to let go as quickly as others can, that’s the problem with me, I get attached easily, and I can’t let go.”
Crawling to the bed, Jongin just sat casually sitting while reaching the game controller. “Turn the Play Station on, I’m going to play.”
She knew he tried to change the topic, and she didn’t even want to mad about it. Because his feeling has to be true, if he couldn’t confess now, then it’s okay rather than being lie
