She sat at the back of the car, looking out and absorbing the scenery. She loved how the clear blue sky looked so calming. Due to her curious nature, she never fails to wonder what the rest of the people outside were busy with, where these people were going and how was their day, was it as good as hers? 

"Taeyeon ah did you have fun today?" Her mum who was driving asked and could not help but smile when she saw her cute daughter's face through her rear mirror. 

The mother and daughter had a fun time together at the amusement park that day. Her dad had sponsored tickets to the newly opened amusement park given to him by the company as a bonus, but he could not make it due to an urgent meeting. How ironic that the tickets came from his company to let him have some family bonding time yet he wasn't able to enjoy it.

"YES! Umma can we go there again next time pleeeeease? I want to ride on the viking again! With appa" Taeyeon excitedly exclaimed, earning chuckles from her mum. "Sure, next time with appa! I bet you are tired after playing for the whole day, take a nap if you want?"

She did not realise that she was actually sleepy until her mum mentioned it. She closed her eyes, the comfortable silence in the car creeping in. The car slowly came to a stop at the traffic light.

She was about to enter dreamland when the car started accelrating and she heard a loud gasp from her mum. Whatever happened next was just too fast for her to digest. She felt her body jerking due to an impact and heard glass shattering. Her head hurts from the collision with the car door and she slowly opened her eyes.

A truck had smashed into their car on the driver's side. She saw her mother's head leaning on the steering wheel, both hands lifelessly on her sides. Blood was profusely streaming down her head.

"Umma..?" Silence. "Um..umma!" she kept shouting for her mother as loud as she could even though she was shaking with fear and in pain. She never received a response.

"Umma!" Taeyeon opened her eyes wide, her breaths uneven and she felt the cold sweat on her body. After staring at the ceiling and realised it was just a nightmare once again - one of the nightmares that had haunted her for years - she slowly sat up and brushed her hair away from her forehead. 

Her hands were clenched into fists as she tried to calm herself down. She sighed as she decided to get a glass of water to sooth her dry throat.

She did not bother to switch on the lights in the kitchen and went straight to fill her glass with water and drank it in a shot.

She leaned against the kitchen table and could not help but let out a sigh again. At times like these, Bomi would always be there to embrace her in the past, when she hadnt left her "home", to comfort her.    

Bomi may be younger than her but she is always reliable when Taeyeon finds herself needing her to be around. Bomi's cheerful and positive personality compliments Taeyeon's calm and enclosed personality. 

"A nightmare again?" a sleepy voice that suddenly sounded startled her. 

"Yah you scared me!" she said, rubbing her chest.

Sunny switched on the lights while rolling her eyes. "Says the one who stood there like a ghost without turning on the lights"

Taeyeon watched as Sunny rummaged through the refridgerator and their cupboards for food. "What, are you possessed by Sooyoung? Why are you looking like a hungry ghost in the middle of the night"

Sunny rolled her eyes and stuffed a handful of chips into . "I can't be compared to that Shikshin oh please." she paused before continuing "Tae you know that this can't go on forever right, are you really not going to consider that therapy?" 

Sunny had been persuading her to try out the well known hypnosis therapy that helps cure several psychological problems and she has always rejected the idea because she didnt think she really need it. 

Maybe it's time for a change, Taeyeon thought. 

The following week, she finds herself standing outside the main entrance of the clinic. Following Sunny's last attempt in convincing her to try out the therapy, she had called for an appointment the next morning. 

She took a deep breath before entering.

"Hi may i help you?" The young lady behind the counter greeted. Taeyeon took a moment to scan the surroundings. It was fairly small and comfortable looking.

"Hi I have an appointment with Ms....Hwang? In 10 mins time" She mentally scolded herself for almost forgetting the doctor's name.

"Ah yes, Ms Kim Taeyeon right? You may proceed to the room furthest in the doorway, Ms Hwang had finished her session with her previous patient early." The receptionist smiled and pointed in the direction of the room.

Taeyeon nodded and bowed politely to her before proceeding to the assigned room.

She knocked a few times before she heard an acknowledgment from the inside and entered. She was greeted by a beautiful lady around her own age, her brunette hair looking stunning and her eyes were twinkling at her. She almost zoned out staring at the beauty when the lady spoke up "Hi, are you Taeyeon?"

Taeyeon snapped out from her trance and felt the heat rising up her cheeks. Kim Taeyeon I bet you looked stupid! She mentally scolded herself once again.
