“I want you to meet the best, absolute, perfect boys,” Yongguk had announced to her on her off day.

            “Who?”

            “B.A.P! My group.”

            Right. That was what their acronym stood for. She smiled hesitantly. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?”

            “Of course. Why not?”

            “I mean, we met briefly, but I’m not quite sure how to take on six grown men at once.”

            Yongguk grinned. “We’re like family. Don’t worry. Himchan will love you, and you already know Daehyun. Your friend’s brought him over a few times. Youngjae is a sass but he’s nice to ladies and Jongup and Junhong are cuties.”

            Roffy glanced at him. “Sometimes, I like to pretend that Jill isn’t actually dating Daehyun.” 

            He laughed out loud. “I knew you would love them. Let’s go.”

            She had never been to their studio and so it was fascinating to walk into the room and see the five other boys lounging on the couches. Daehyun and Youngjae were warming up their voices while Jongup was doing wall pushups. The moment they saw their leader walk in, they snapped to attention.

            “Sister-in-law!” they chorused happily.

            Roffy felt shy under their scrutiny. This was the equivalent of Yongguk meeting her friends. She felt like they were judging her, except they weren’t. Each of them was smiling at her, except for Daehyun. For him, she was already someone familiar. He was, however, smirking at her.

            “Welcome to our lair,” he told her while Yongguk glared at him.

            “Be nice or I’ll tell your girlfriend.”

            This shut the cocky vocalist up and he exaggerated a bow. “Welcome my dear sister-in-law. What would you like us to perform for you today?”

            Sans Daehyun, everyone made her feel at home and Roffy warmed up immensely to the innocently cute Junhong. Even though he towered over her, he still had his baby cheeks and would make cute expressions when he saw her looking at him. He was quite a charmer.

            The boys were playful during their practice and she saw a different side to Yongguk. He was sweet with her at home, a little quiet and thoughtful, but with them he seemed like a child again. Even though there were times when he preferred to be by her or by himself, once one of the younger members went to him, he was drawn in by their infectious smiles.

            Roffy found herself enthralled by their dance practice and when they were done for the day, she impressed even by Daehyun to see that he was still practicing by himself. She walked up to him. “Good job. Jill will be proud of you.”

            He gave her a lopsided grin. “Oh, she’s already proud.”

            She rolled her eyes. “You always remind me why I don’t like you.”

            Daehyun blinked at her and she saw how attractive he could be when he wasn’t being a goat. “I don’t need you liking me. My girlfriend loves me. That’s enough.”

            “I can undo that,” she replied.

            Yongguk stepped in. “Hey, you two are supposed to get along, not snipe at one another.”

            “We do get along,” they both said at the same time and this time, both genuinely smiled.

            Yongguk rolled his eyes and held his hand out. “Do you want to take a tour of the rest of the studio?”

            He led her through the recording room where she met the producers that he worked with. Then they went to the production room and the meeting area. He hugged her from behind and leaned his chin on her shoulder. “Don’t be so close to Daehyun. I’d get jealous.”

            Roffy giggled. His breath by her ear was ticklish. “There’s nothing to be jealous about. He’s taken, heavens knows why. And I’m definitely taken.”

            He picked up her hand and played with the ring he had placed there. “Okay, just wanted to make sure.”

            She leaned into him. “I do have a request though.”

            “Hmm?”

            “Can we adopt Junhong?”

            He gave a loud laugh. “How about we make our own baby instead?”

            “Or we can take care of Sniffles first.”

            “Or that.”
